This hotel is a 1 hour - 1.5 hour drive from the white wedding's venue, if you plan on attending both celebrations (and we really hope you do), plan to transition from this hotel to the Long Island hotel mentioned above sometime between Friday and Saturday! This hotel is a 1 hour - 1.5 hour drive from the white wedding's venue, if you plan on attending both celebrations (and we really hope you do), plan to transition from this hotel to the Long Island hotel mentioned above sometime between Friday and Saturday! Travel Note
We urge you to book at the hotels mentioned above as we have contracted room blocks for you priced at a much lower rate than the general area! For the traditional: We recommend you book a stay in Brooklyn at the Tillary Hotel or the Ace Hotel through the links supplied above. You can choose to book from Wednesday/Thursday - Friday/Saturday (or through to Sunday should you choose). These hotels are both walkable distances (15-30 min) and less than 10 minute drives from the traditional ceremony's venue. Additionally you get to enjoy the New York City area during the week! But note that they are a 1.5 hour drive from the white wedding's venue! For the white wedding: We recommend you transition to the Hyatt Regency Long Island hotel by Friday evening or latest Saturday early afternoon (3 PM check in time for Hyatt). If you want to stay in your Brooklyn hotel, that is fine, but note you will have a 3 hour trip in total. Our recommendation: Option A (most recommended for those flying in): Wednesday/Thursday - Friday: The Tillary Hotel / ACE Hotel (Brooklyn, NY) Friday - Sunday: The Hyatt Regency Hotel (St. James, NY) Option B Wednesday/Thursday - Saturday: The Tillary Hotel / ACE Hotel (Brooklyn, NY) Saturday - Sunday: The Hyatt Regency Long Island Hotel (St. James, NY) Option C (for those already in the NYC/NJ area): Saturday - Sunday: The Hyatt Regency Long Island Hotel (St. James, NY) For safe drinking and partying!!
Flight
John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) This is by far the best airport to fly into as it lands you right between both venue locations and you can easily get to your hotel in the Brooklyn, Queens, or Long Island area. It also has an easily accessible train station that will get you to any of these three locations relatively quickly. LaGuardia (LGA) The next best option. This lands you in Queens, which is not far from the the Brooklyn location, but a much further commute if you plan on staying at a hotel in Long Island. Similarly, it does have an accessible train, but it will take longer. Newark (EWR) This is the last resort option of the three. Located in Newark, New Jersey, it oftentimes is the cheapest flight option, but it will take you much longer to get to Brooklyn, Queens, or Long Island to arrive at your hotel or the venue generally. There is public transit that will get you into NYC but the added extended commute is often not worth the expense.
