Question

Where is the venue located?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will both take place at The Estate at New Albany. The ceremony will take place on the venue's patio, with a reception will follow inside. In the case of inclement weather, there is a room in the venue that provides an alternative indoor space for the ceremony. The venue is 15 minutes from John Glen Airport.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are asking all guests to wear semi-formal or cocktail attire. Please avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride (whites, ivories, and creams).

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people listed on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to "[Your Name] & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to limited numbers, we hope you appreciate that children will only be invited if named. Your invitation will be made out to "The [Your Last Name] Family" if your children have been invited. If you are traveling from out of state and will be traveling with your children, but they have not been invited, please reach out to Sarah for accommodation options.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Our menu will be buffet style for the reception. Please reach out to Sarah if you have any specific allergies or diets (vegetarian, etc) so that we can make accommodations for your meal.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

For local friends and family that would like to drive to the venue, there is a parking lot out front with handicap accessibility. If you plan to drink, we ask that you make hotel arrangements at those provided as they are easily accessible on foot or that you use a ride sharing service following the reception. You can leave your car in the parking lot over night until 12 PM (noon) the next day. We want everyone to enjoy our special day and make it home safely!

Where should I stay?

Answer

We are encouraging all guests to stay at the hotels conveniently located across from the venue (basically in the parking lot). Please book your room at your earliest convenience if you are planning on staying overnight. There are no specific room blocks booked at this time so feel free to reserve a room at any of the three hotels provided on the lodging page.
