What is the dress code?

Answer

Western formal best describes the dress for the event! Expect a full pallet of fall colors including rust, maroon, dusty rose, and different shades of orange and touches of yellow amongst the bridal party and venue decor. Per the brides kind and respectful request, no white please!

Where to eat?

Answer

Ramons is delicious and the closest thing to authentic Texmex food in the area! You won’t be disappointed! Tiny Timbers is a favorite of the bride and groom! A must for breakfast! They also offer delicious lunch options

Is there public transportation?

Answer

The short answer is no. If you are flying, we recommend that you rent a car and drive in from the city as there are extremely limited options for rental cars in the area

Gas, Groceries, Snacks and Whatnot

Answer

South Fork and Creede both have one gas station a piece in town. Del Norte has two, and Monte Vista has 4. There are a ton of gas stations in Alamosa as well. Each town also hosts a grocery store. Do keep in mind that the Rainbow Grocery Store in South Fork closes at 7:00 and the Creede Grocery store, the Kentucky Belle Market closes at 6:00. There is a Dollar General in South Fork that stays open until 9:00. Should you need a wider selection, Alamosa, CO has the closest Walmart. It is about the same distance to the Walmart in Pagosa, but you have to go over Wolf Creek Pass to get there! There is a local grocery store one town over (15 minutes) from South Fork as well called Lowes that stays open until 9:00pm as well. We highly recommend that you stop in Alamosa on your way through if at all possible! Can you rent outdoor equipment for activities other than the wedding?

Answer

YES! 8200 Mountain Sports has wader rentals for fishing, as well as raft, kayak, paddle board, and tube rentals if the water isn't too low/cold yet. While Pierce will be unavailable to take you all on guides, there are other guides in the shop that would be happy to help you experience the Rio in a big way! They host a ton of various supplies for you to have a great time from arrival, to the wedding, to the day after, to your departure. South Fork and Creede are the perfect destinations for those who love outdoor adventure and small town living! We hope you check out all the area has to offer while you are in town!
