Things To Do

San Miguel de Allende is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is known world-wide as a cultural arts and food destination. Named “Best City in the World” for the past two years by Conde Nasté and Travel + Leisure magazines (check out the article: https://bit.ly/3uklbiz), we invite you to explore the city and fall in love! Traditional colonial homes dot the entire landscape of the city, some with unassuming doors that lead you into beautiful and tranquil patios and courtyards. We love visiting the cathedral in the middle of the town square (La Parroquia Church), and catching glimpses of the town from rooftop terraces. These are a few of our favorite things to do and restaurants around the city!

Restaurants (Breakfast / Brunch)

Ki'bok Coffee - this is a must! Casual coffee shop with a few amazing breakfast dishes - recommend ordering the Chilaquiles Verdes Andanza - inside The Belmond hotel's courtyard, delicious sit-down breakfast served with fresh pastries Inside Cafe (rooftop terrace) - known for their grilled cheese sandwich

Restaurants (Dinner)

Atrio Restaurant - highly recommend! Beautiful rooftop with views of the church. Delicious food and great service. La Azotea - lively rooftop, great for small bites/cocktails (try the jimica tacos!) La Unica - rooftop terrace with regional mexican cuisine Quince - well known, large rooftop terrace. Clubby, fun vibe with DJ at night. Late night sushi. Likely need to make a reservation. The Restaurant - fusion cooking, 18th-century mansion courtyard (burger night on Thursday. Same place as the "after dinner cocktails" on Friday night) Moxi - fine dining, inside Hotel Matilda (try the tasting menu!) Trazo 1810 - located inside the Casa 1810 hotel, stunning rooftop recently renovated Bovine - sleek, contemporary, and upscale

Grab a Cocktail

BEKEB - on the rooftop of Casa Hoyos. Luna Tapas Bar (rooftop of the Rosewood Hotel - gets very busy so go early and well before sunset!) Quince Rooftop El Grito (club)
