Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Formal attire is requested. Suits and elegant floor-length dresses are encouraged, but ties are completely optional. We invite you to dress up and express your personal style! Since it’s a summer wedding, feel free to embrace fun colors, summer prints, and light fabrics. Have fun with your outfits and enjoy the spirit of the summer evening. If you need inspiration, there’s a photo above for reference. And remember, don’t overthink the attire—what's most important to us is that you enjoy the celebration!

Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Our Pre-Ceremony Welcome Drinks starts at 4:30 pm, 30 minutes before the ceremony begins. This will give you time to grab a specialty craft cocktail, mocktail, beer/wine, or coffee/tea and mingle before the ceremony at 5pm. Please arrive no sooner than 4:15pm and no later than 4:50pm, as the ceremony will have a hard start at 5pm.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we have our preferred resort (Omni La Costa) where we will be staying and potentially having a welcome gathering at. We will also have a shuttle to/from the resort and our wedding venue. We will have a room block and booking link available starting in January 2025. If staying there is not an option for you, there are plenty of Airbnb homes in San Diego. We also have a budget friendly hotel option.

Question

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

Our Reception will end at 11pm. There may be an after-party in our suite back at the resort. More details to come!

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony and dinner reception will be outdoors. Dancing and dessert will be inside.

Question

Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of free parking in the lot.

Question

Can guests leave their cars at the venue overnight?

Answer

Yes, cars may be left overnight in our parking lot. At the end of the event, the property gates will be shut and locked. Cars may be picked up the following morning after the golf course opens. Cars must be picked up no later than 10am the next morning.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will have a full bar with liquor, wine, beer and the ability to order any cocktail. We will be picking up the tab in hopes everyone parties all night long with us! We will also have a special mixologist company (Snake Oil Cocktail) come in for the pre-ceremony drinks and cocktail hour. No outside alcohol is allowed on property.

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We will have a plated dinner, you can select your entree choice (and let us know any allergies you might have) when you RSVP. We will also have apps passed around immediately following the ceremony. We have carefully selected plenty of food opportunities to ensure you don't go hungry at any time of the event!

What is the weather like in San Diego?

Late August/Early September in San Diego is the end of the high season, but can be the hottest times of the year. Temperatures can fluctuate, but be prepared for warmer weather. Daytime highs can range from 75-88 degrees and evening lows from 62-68 degrees.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel/resort to the wedding?

Answer

Question

What is the best airport to fly in/out of?

Answer

San Diego International Airport

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

San Diego has excellent Uber and Lyft service. If you plan on doing a lot of sightseeing, we recommend renting a car.

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

While we love your kids, we invite you to take the night off and leave the little ones at home. Get ready for the best adults-only wedding you'll ever go to. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Can we bring our children for the weekend, even though they're not allowed at the wedding and rehearsal dinner cruise?

Answer

Absolutely! We understand that some guests may want to bring their children along and make a family vacation out of the weekend. If you need assistance with childcare options during the wedding and/or rehearsal, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly. We’re happy to help!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that phones and devices be put away and set to silent during the ceremony. We’ve hired two professional photographers, a videographer, and a content creator who will be capturing the day using an iPhone. This allows for quick, high-quality images and videos that can be shared instantly. The content creator’s role is to document the joyful moments with our guests, ensuring everyone is present and engaged in the celebration. We want to create a distraction-free environment and by letting the professionals handle the photography, you can fully enjoy the experience.
