Ryan and Rachel's story starts like any great love story -- on a dating app. Ryan's (attempt at) captivating messages caught Rachel's eye, and Rachel knew in time there was more to Ryan. Their chemistry blossomed on their first date while having fun playing pool until after midnight. They bonded over matching life values while Rachel hit hole-in-one's during a mini-golf date. Rachel's personality, thoughtfulness, and cooking continued to grow on Ryan. Ryan's kindness, patience, and adoption of fur baby & chonky cat Luca warmed Rachel's heart. They went on a ski trip, met family & friends, talked about the future, and moved in together within a few months. Super-planner Rachel guided them across world travels -- Greek island boat rides & rainy ATVing, Italian mountains & lakes, and the vibrant streets of Vietnam. They found new hobbies (flowers, crafts, and BBQ smoking), and connected through life's many highs and some deep lows. In the late summer of 2024, Ryan crafted a beautiful surprise and proposed to Rachel at the Japanese Friendship Garden in San Diego's Balboa Park. Our family and friends are a big part of our story, and we can't wait to celebrate with everyone on August 31st!
