This is the closest larger town by our venue in Maine. There are some chain stores and local restaurants.

Windham

A cute town just across the NH border. You could also go a little farther Northwest and drive up (or hike if you're super ambitious) Mt Washington.

North Conway

Portland is such a fun city with unbelievable food and local shops. It is a little over an hour from Bridgton, but a beautiful drive for a day trip. You could also drive just south and see the most photographed lighthouse which is the Portland Head Lighthouse in Cape Elizabeth.

There are so many beautiful parks and lakes to see! The foliage should be great too to just soak in the scenery. The ocean is also a must. We are happy to recommend any restaurants (although you can't go wrong anywhere) or anything specific, just ask!
