Yup! You read the date correctly. It sure is. Why? Venues are a lot cheaper on weekdays than weekends!
Please check the Travel section of the website for our options.
Well, technically, it's in the Chattanooga area! For those that aren't from this part of the country, Chattanooga is literally on the border of Tennessee and Georgia. While the venue is technically in Georgia, it's only 20 minutes from downtown Chattanooga proper. Keep your eyes on this site for more updates on options for travel between the venue and hotels!
Literally every guest is coming from out of town, and we realize and very much appreciate it! We have shuttles! The shuttles will be departing from the Moxy Chattanooga Downtown at 3 PM sharp on Thursday! That should get passengers to the venue and in their seats before 4 PM. There will be two shuttle departure times: An 8:30 PM early shuttle and a 10 PM final shuttle. Please don't drink and drive!
We ask that you try to arrive around 3:30 to allow plenty of time to find your seat and settle in.
The plan is outdoors (weather permitting!). If there is inclement weather, there is a tent on site where the ceremony will be conducted.
Is casual-formal a thing? Don't wear sweat pants but it's a wedding, wear something fun! You know that thing in the closet you've wanted to break out for a special occasion? Now's the time!
If it says on your invitation, yes! If it does not, we kindly ask that you don't!
If it says "family" on your invitation, yes.
The most comfortable of comfort food. Basically tacos, pizza, cookies, cupcakes, and donuts. If that doesn't make you excited, we don't know what will. That being said, we will have vegan, dairy, and gluten free options across the board!
Of course! Silas works in the whiskey industry. For those of you that have not met the Boyle family, this is a requirement. That being said, TIP THE BARTENDERS! If you don't drink, we will have plenty of yummy N/A options like soda, tea, seltzer, and punch!
No! We respectfully ask that you keep your devices, phones, iPads, and cameras to yourself at the ceremony. We paid for a very, very talented photographer to capture our moment and we prefer that to be the only means it is captured. We do not want phones in the air like we're performers at some weird concert. However, after the ceremony and at the reception, please take as many photos and make as many memories as you like!
Please don't! At least not right off the bat. If it's a story post of the reception and it disappears in 24 hours, that's fine. However, we respectfully ask that you wait to post any photos of us at our wedding until we have received and posted the final pictures from our photographer. We will also have Polaroids and 35mm film cameras at the ceremony as our sort of "guest book." After we get them developed, any great pictures that are taken of individuals, we will personally send out digital scans of some of the greatest hits!
