Location & Travel

The Wedding Website of Peter Smíšek and Lachlan Anderson-Frank
We are getting married in Český Krumlov, one of the Czech Republic's most picturesque towns. Located in south Bohemia, it is within easy reach of both Prague (2hr by car) and Vienna (2:45hr by car). Direct trains from Prague are only once or twice a day, or you can take the more frequent train to České Budějovice and then change to bus/local train or taxi (20mins). Airport shuttles are also cheap (see below) and please email us if you need travel tips. Český Krumlov's compact historic centre offers lots of accommodation - our wedding will be held at the town's biggest hotel, but there are lots of other options as well outlined below, from small B&Bs to self-catered . Early booking is highly advised as the town is popular and things get booked before summer. Expect to pay anywhere from £50-£75 per night including breakfast, up to around £150 for higher-end accommodation. And don't forget the Czech Republic has its own currency the Koruna, not the Euro
