In these uncertain times, we realise it will be a challenge to make any firm plans to travel, so we will send detailed invitations in March and ask you to RSVP by the end of May 2022. Please get in touch if you feel uncertain about travel arrangements.
Although it is an afternoon and evening wedding it will not be full black tie, so something formal but fun is fine. Fabulous jumpsuits are encouraged, but suits and/or long dresses are fine.
Not at all. While renting a car at Prague Airport and driving is convenient, there are good public transport links, including trains and buses, and cheap private shuttles (taxis) from Krumlov for about 35GBP per person. Our favourite (and eminently affordable) way to travel is to take the Southern Express (Jižní expres) intercity train from Prague's Main Station (reached by bus 'AE' from the airport) and enjoy a good meal and a beer on tap in the dining car (you might need to change to a regional train or bus at České Budějovice depending on your connection). We've put more details about trains and shuttles on the location & travel page of this website.
Of course. There will be an option to include your little ones in your RSVP.
The town is well served by many types of accommodation, from hotels, BnBs (pension in Czech), AirBnBs and even hostels. As long as you're in or near the centre, you will be within walking distance of local attractions, restaurants and our wedding venue (Hotel Růže), but you can visit the Location & Travel page of this website for some suggestions.
Yes, please get in touch with us separately and we'll work it out with the venue.
Yes, we'll be having a general catchup with friends at the local brewery the night before the wedding, and a breakfast with family staying at Hotel Růže the day after, as well as some river rafting/tubing for those who feel up to it. More details on this on the event schedule page - we'll be organising the trip for everyone so please RSVP to this element if you would like to join.
No! We don't have a registry and we don't expect any presents. Your presence is enough for us (see what we did there :)
