We met at Dondero Elementary school in Portsmouth , NH, where Aista was a second grade teacher! Peter was subbing for a day before leaving for Chicago to start his Naval training. Two weeks later, we were both at an Irish Pub and bumped into each other. We exchanged numbers and went on our official first date the next day and the rest is history!

It was the first snowfall of the season. We were walking our dog Lady in the park and ended up having an epic snowball fight. As we headed home, I realized that Peter was not walking next to me. I turned around and he was kneeling in two feet of snow and proposed! I only then realized that this was in the exact same spot where we shared our first kiss.
