Head straight there for sunset on your first day to set the tone for the trip 2) Oystera - Go for a cocktail in an old sugar mill. Skip the food, it's overpriced but the vibe is great 3) El Faro Beach Club - 10 min outside of town. This is an amazing place to spend the day. Infinity pool right on the beach. You can get massages, drinks and food with an unreal view 4) Pacifica Fish Market - Not open weekends, but incredible shrimp burritos. Beaches

Playa Cerritos is the easiest to go for a spot to post up with bars / food / swimming / massage / parking Playa las palmas if you want to be off the beaten path, but don't go near wild horses! Beach in front of Hotel San Cristobal is the best place to swim because it's protected. This is the right down the way from El Faro beach club which is amazing
