Our Favorite Things

The Wedding Website of Bridget Boushka and Paul Boes
We are so excited to share this special spot in Oregon with you! As you can tell from our lengthy list of recommendations, we absolutely love Bend and it's surrounding areas. Below you will see recommendations for some phenomenal PNW beer, amazing food, and spectacular hikes.
Crux Fermentation Project

Crux Fermentation Project

2715 Southeast 8th Avenue, Portland, OR 97202

Crux is an absolute MUST while you are in Bend! With tons of outside seating, food carts, and a huge yard, it is a staple for couples and families alike. It's our favorite sunset spot. Not into beer? They have some great small batch whiskey too.

Bend Brewing Company

Bend Brewing Company

1019 Northwest Brooks Street, Bend, OR 97701

Bend Brewing is in the heart of downtown and has a large outdoor area right along the river. This is a great spot for a quick local beer while exploring downtown!

Monkless Belgian Ales

Monkless Belgian Ales

803 Southwest Industrial Way, Bend, OR 97702

Monkless has a vast assortment of Belgian Ales and is a fun changeup to the normal PNW beer scene. We love splitting their flight of 12 so we can try everything! Don't miss out on their Bavarian Pretzel or Brat Board either.

Silver Moon Brewing

Silver Moon Brewing

24 Northwest Greenwood Avenue, Bend, OR 97703

We like to think of this spot as one of Bend's hidden gems. It's a bit off the beaten path but always has seats for a big group, great beer, food carts, and live music on the weekends!

San Simón

845 Northwest Tin Pan Alley, Bend, OR 97703

Want a break from beer? This is a great spot for craft cocktails + is open late. If you get lost - yes, this place is in an alley!

Strictly Organic

6 Southwest Bond Street, Bend, OR 97702

Best breakfast burrito in town! This is our go-to spot before setting out on a long hike.

Jackson's Corner

845 Northwest Delaware Avenue, Bend, OR 97701

This spot has a great southern-inspired brunch and makes a mean pizza at dinner. It also has a HUGE to-go beer section with almost every local beer you can think of!

Brother Jon's Public House

Brother Jon's Public House

1227 Northwest Galveston Avenue, Bend, OR 97701

We cannot recommend this place enough for a casual lunch or dinner spot! Amazing sandwiches, great vibes, and tons of local beer on tap.

Spork

Spork

937 Northwest Newport Avenue, Bend, OR 97703

This is one of the most popular spots on the Bend foodie scene. It's a bit outside of the heart of Bend but definitely worth it!

Wild Rose Northern Thai Eats

Wild Rose Northern Thai Eats

150 Northwest Oregon Avenue, Bend, OR 97701

No matter what night of the week, this place is packed! If you like Thai food, this spot is a must. To cut the wait we recommend ordering takeout.

Smith Rock State Park

Smith Rock State Park

Smith Rock State Park, OR

Smith Rock State Park is world renowned not only for it's incredible views but it's climbing scene. Located 45 minutes outside of Bend, it is very accessible for families and experienced hikers. It's only .4 miles walk to get to the iconic photo spot, but for those that want a bit of a challenge we recommend these 2 hikes: Misery Ridge and River Trail Loop (3.6 mi) Misery Ridge and Summit Trail Loop (6.2 mi)

Crater Lake National Park

Crater Lake National Park

Crater Lake National Park, OR

If you have some extra time and are feeling adventurous, make a trip out to Crater Lake (2.5 hrs from Bend). It is the deepest lake in the United States (9th in the World) and is an iconic Oregon destination. Feel like jumping in? Take Cleetwood Cove Trail down to the rim and there's a spot to cliff jump :) There's also tons of hiking if that's more your thing!

Tumalo Falls

Tumalo Falls

OR 97703

Tumalo Falls is a popular waterfall hike ~25 min from Bend. You can walk .5 miles to see the Falls or turn that into a 6 mile loop. Make sure to get there early because parking fills up quick!

Tumalo Mountain Trail

Tumalo Mountain Trail

Tumalo Mountain Trail, OR 97703

This 4-mile out and back hike (20 min from Bend) takes you to the top of Tumalo Mountain where you can see the 4 main mountains all in 1 view: Mt. Bachelor, South Sister, Middle Sister, and North Sister!

For all the days along the way
