Do you want to experience eating some street food in the Philippines with a guide? Try out this Airbnb experience that we went on! The guide took us to eat A LOT of delicious delicacies and she showed us a lot of different bars you can bar hop from. Either beware or have a good time ;) - it's in the Philippines' red light district. :P
Go deep in the world's oldest Chinatown for a food tour! The guide takes you to hole in the wall restaurants where owners make their food very fresh (never frozen!). It's a very unique experience that will let you immerse in the culture within this part of town. It's something you wouldn't be able to get to/explore without a guide. :) I booked Mari through Airbnb Experience, but I recommend booking her through Facebook because Airbnb takes a 30% cut from the profits.
Are you interested in learning more about "Old Manila"? Do you want to see Spanish-era landmarks and cobblestone streets? Check out their bike tours to explore the walled city!
We don't have this type of movie theatre in Arizona. 4DX is like going on a 2-hour Disney ride. Watch a movie with 3D glasses and moving seats! It's definitely a movie going experience you wouldn't want to miss!
Do you have extra time to spare in the Philippines and would want to spend a luxurious weekend in a private island resort? Go check out Paula and Arizona's favorite place in the Philippines! Treat yourself to a well-deserved vacation. :)
For the adventurous spirits and divers out there! Coron has very cool shipwrecks you can dive through - highly recommended by a lot of individuals! You can also book a houseboat in the middle of the sea through Airbnb.
If you like to shop, head over to the largest shopping mall in the Philippines (and the fifth largest mall in the world!). Shop til you drop!
Manam is a chain restaurant in the Philippines. Arizona LOVES the Ube + Sago shake, and Paula goes crazy for the Mango + Pomelo + Sago shake. They go here at least 5 times every time they go back to the Philippines.
Mary Grace is a chain restaurant in the Philippines. They have Paula's favorite Mango Bene cake that she tries to get pretty much everyday! Also, don't forget to order your daily dose of mango shake if you stop by any Filipino restaurant. Yum yum!
If you're heading to the Philippines and have some extra time, try to make a stop over in one of our neighboring countries! They are all around 2-4 hours away and the tickets are fairly cheap from the Philippines. You might be able to see the Cherry Blossoms bloom as well in Korea/Japan that time of year.
