Question

Is the wedding outside? What happens if it rains?

Answer

Yes! The wedding is in our family friend's lovely backyard. Let's all hope for sunny skies, but in case of severe weather, our backup venue will be at the studio of Cycropia Aerial Dance at 5048 Tradewinds Pkwy, Madison WI 53718

Do I need to bring my own chair/ blanket?

Answer

If you live in the Madison area, please do! If you’re coming from out of town, we have foldable chairs for you.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Sorta? Patrick and Jade will be fancy cuz they're getting hitched. But it's also a pretty casual backyard picnic situation. Wear something that makes you feel good, and that you feel comfortable plopping down on a picnic blanket in, or tossing around a frisbee. Sparkles are encouraged (it is a circus wedding after all).

Should I wear heels?

Answer

The venue is all grass, one big lawn. Do with that info what you will.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be parking on the property. Carpooling is encouraged to ensure there is enough space.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We don't have a shuttle to/from the hotel and ceremony, since most of our guests are driving. However, if you need a ride, reach out to us and we'll connect you with a local and/or get you set up with Uber vouchers to get to/from wedding weekend events.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving around 3:30 to get parked and settled before the ceremony begins (at 4 PM)

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! We'll have gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options. (In addition to the standard gluten-full meaty cheesy options)

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence is gift enough! But if you'd really like to send a little extra our way, check out the Registry tab on our site. We're mostly collecting honeymoon funds (we're going on our first international trip together, to Costa Rica!).

I'm so bummed I can't make the wedding :( Will there be a livestream?

Answer

Yes! You can go to live.16feetmedia.com at 4 PM CST (2 PM Pacific) to catch the wedding ceremony. If you go to the site ahead of time, you won't see anything there since nothing is streaming at the moment, but bookmark that page and go back to it at wedding time!
