Sandstone Ranch Visitors Center
When visiting the Flynn Family Farm, it's nice to walk or ride a bike over to Sandstone Ranch. It's only 1.5 miles from the farm, the trail is paved and flat, and you'll go right by mom's bench ♡ At the end of the trail, hike the bluff for incredible views of the front range, or pop into the Visitor Learning Center to get to know the area.
Union Reservoir
The Flynn's like to take the pups to Union Reservoir, especially to watch the sunset! You can also rent stand up paddle boards or kayaks here. Plan to pay a fee for entry.
LaVern M. Johnson Park
We love to go tubing down St. Vrain Creek here! It will probably be too cold to tube in September, but it's also a huge, kid-friendly park with beautiful views year-round.
Rocky Mountain National Park
Put this on your bucket list if it isn't already. Drive through the park for spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains. And, if the altitude is treating you well, take frequent stops and stretch your legs with hikes of various lengths and levels.
The Mishawaka
A very fun live music venue. Nestled in the canyon, the light shows on the rocks and the sound are incredible! It's also a fairly intimate setting with a max capacity of 1,000. Allie saw Rusted Root here!
Erie Singletrack
Did you bring your mountain bike? Want to borrow one and try it out? The Flynn's have bikes and the Erie Singletrack is one of Pat's favorite places to go when we come down to Longmont. Check it out!
Wibby Brewing
Excellent lagers and silly-fun atmosphere. Allie worked on a food truck that frequented this brewery when she first moved to Colorado.
Collision Brewing Company & Restaurant
The Flynn's & Pat are regulars here. The food is great, the beer is too, and the service is excellent. You can even bike from the farm!
Left Hand Brewing Company
Another great, local brewery. Allie ran a food stand here when she first moved to Colorado.
Bootstrap Brewing
Getting tired of beer yet? No? Here's another one for the list. They usually have live music or something goin on.

Delicious Indian cuisine right on Main Street in Longmont.
Rosario's Peruvian Restaurant
Have a craving for authentic Peruvian fare? Dios mio. Look no further - Rosario's gotcha covered. The best part - they offer 'tours' where you can sample 3 dishes. The ceviche will knock your socks off.
The Roost
A great American-style restaurant with a rooftop patio and lots of outdoor seating.
Lucile's Creole Cafe
You'll never have a better breakfast.
Longs Peak Pub & Taphouse
Relaxed atmosphere, made-from-scratch grub, and great beer on tap! They take cash, check, or IOUs so pop by the ATM on your way!

Ras Kassa's Ethiopian Restaurant
If you've never had Ethiopian, now is the time! And it's worth the short drive to Longmont to Lafayette. Don't go if you're in a hurry - it's a vibe you should get in on. The folks running the place will fill your heart, and your stomach. The 'feasts' are bangin'.
Pearl Street Mall
Go for the food, the drinks, for a show, shopping, some people watching... ...you never know what you'll find here!
Fiske Planetarium
Fiske Planetarium and Science Center is a public museum dedicated to educating the public on astronomy and astrophysics. The light shows are incredible!
Boulder Flatirons
View or hike the iconic Boulder Flatirons. Not for the faint of heart...Allie once took a friend hiking here a liiiittle too early into Spring and they slipped and slid their way up and down the trail, leaving Allie with a scar on her leg and a bruised ego. Don't worry - September should be clear of any snow!
Denver Museum of Nature & Science
Yoooo, you really haven't been here yet? Better get this on the books.
Coors Field

Mines Museum of Earth Science
You MUST go to one of the coolest gem and mineral museums. Plus, Golden, CO is a really neat town and has great food and brews.
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
Another must if you've never been. Who cares who's playing! Or, you can hike and take in the views during the day! Loveland Pass
A gorgeous drive that will give you a taste of where Pat & Allie live, without going too far off the beaten path. Do it for the gram, or, for the iconic 'love-and-ass' photo. Don't do it if you're afraid of heights or driving along cliffs.
Buffalo Mountain Trailhead
In town for a bit? Come up to the mountains, where Pat & Allie live! They're in Silverthorne, on Buffalo Mountain, which you can hike if you're ready for a challenge!
Keystone Resort
No skiing this early in the season, but you can still take a hike up or bike down the mountain where Pat and Allie had their first date! Check the website to find out if the gondola is running.
Lily Pad Lake
A beautiful hike to a lily pad-filled lake at the base of Buffalo Mountain. One time Allie & Pat didn't make it to the lake due to a moose and her calf blocking the trail! Do NOT mess with the meese!
Ptarmigan Peak Trail
Another great hiking spot close to Pat & Allie's.
Dillon Reservoir
Rent a pontoon boat, kayak, or stand-up paddle board and take some laps around Lake Dillon! Phenomenal views of the Gore Range, Tenmile Range, and Front Range mountains.
Dillon Amphitheater
Another sweet music venue - this one is on Dillon Reservoir up in the mountains, right around the corner from where Pat & Allie live! Another spot for beautiful views and sexy sunsets! -August 31: Young the Giant with Milky Chance -September 3: Gregory Alan Isakov -September 4: Moon Taxi
Sapphire Point Overlook
Another gorgeous and easy drive in Summit County. At the top is a short hike to Sapphire Point and views of Dillon Reservoir and the surrounding mountain ranges. Worth it!
Pennsylvania Mine
Got really good 4WD? Head on up to Pennsylvania Mine, close to Keystone Resort! ...just don't touch anything...it's toxic...according to Google searches completed by Allie during the creation of this website. Maybe just don't even go here.
Chihuahua Lake
Still got the itch to 4-wheel, but don't want to absorb toxins? Go somewhere off the beaten path to one of Pat & Allie's favorite go-to hikes - Chihuahua Lake.
