Something to do if you are visiting for the weekend. The Mayowood House was home to the original founders of the Mayo Clinic. Beautiful grounds and estate, tours are available Saturday morning before the wedding!

Mayowood Historic Home

At the nature center there’s exhibits of MN native animals, an Indoor Observation Honeybee Hive, and a bird observation room. There are parks and trails to explore on the property as well.
