When should I arrive in the Dominican Republic?
Answer
We have reserved our room block for Thursday, November 7 to Monday, November 11. There will be a welcome party on Thursday, November 7 in the evening for all guests to enjoy, and we would love to see you there! If you have any questions, requests, or concerns about your stay, please reach out to our travel agent. Also, please keep in mind that there is a 3-night minimum for our room block!

When should I book my room?
Answer
If you are booking through our Destination Weddings website, you must book your room by June 20, 2024. After this date, any rooms that have not been reserved in our room block will be released. If you want to book after June 20, 2024, you will need to book directly through the hotel’s website.

I have a question about the booking process. Who should I talk to?
Answer
Our travel agent, Kellie Davis, would love to help you with any questions you have! You can contact her via email at kdavis@destinationweddings.com or via phone at 678-230-7538. If you send Kellie an email, please include "Clay Wedding" in the subject line.

Do I have to book through the travel agency?
Answer
No - We have a room block reserved for the weekend of our wedding via our travel agency, but you do not need to book through our travel agency if you don't want to! If you book directly through the resort's website, we just ask that you send your confirmation number to Alyssa via email so that we can keep track of all of our guests. Alyssa's email address is alyssaamber231@gmail.com We strongly recommend that you do not book through third-party websites, such as Expedia. The hotel has informed us that reservations made through third-party websites are not guaranteed. Please only book directly through our Destination Weddings website or directly through the hotel's website.

Are children welcome?
Answer
We have indicated who is invited on your RSVP form! Lopesan Costa Bavaro is a family-friendly resort. If you are traveling with children, ensure that you select a room option that allows children when booking your stay. This will be the "Junior Suite Pool" option in our block!
Question
What is the appropriate attire for the wedding ceremony and reception?
Answer
We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us! We are requesting a formal dress code for the evening. Please no jeans, sneakers, shorts, or flip-flops. You are welcome to wear whatever colors you'd like, but please no white!
