Question
Is there a dress code for the welcome event?
Answer
The welcome event dress code is Garden Attire - think sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues (although suit jacket is not required and jeans/khakis are also acceptable). We will be outside for part of the evening, but you may want to bring a light jacket just in case it gets chilly!

What should we expect for the welcome event?
Answer
The welcome event goes from 6-10pm and is located at WOW (World of Wine) events Porto. We'll start with cocktails on the terrace, followed by a light dinner (starting around 8pm) with dancing throughout.

Is there a dress code for the wedding and after party?
Answer
Yes - Our wedding dress code is black tie preferred. This means if you already have a tux please wear it, but don't feel obligated to buy one specifically for this. For ladies, please think floor length gowns. Late night note: This event goes until 4am - sounds crazy but let's just think of this as 8pm PST/11pm EST :) There will be shuttles departing starting at 12:30am and the hosts can help call taxis if you prefer to leave at a non-scheduled departure time. Please feel free to bring a change of clothing / comfortable attire to change into to keep the good times rollin'! This can be anything from a shorter dress to sweatpants to pajamas. You may store your change of clothing at the venue and the hosts will direct you where upon arrival. Slippers/flip flops will be provided for dancing.

Where will the ceremony be held and what weather should we expect?
Answer
Our ceremony will be held outdoors at 3:30pm and will be on grass with a paved walkway. The ceremony area is largely shaded and the weather in Amares in early July is expected to be in the 70s with a low of 62 and a high of 81.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes there is parking on premise and you may leave your car overnight. However, we will also be providing shuttles to and from the venue at scheduled times and the hosts can also help call taxis if you prefer to leave outside of a bus departure time (12:30am / 2am / 4am).

What are the details for the pool party
Answer
Join us at Casa Lata Agroturismo on July 2 from 12:30pm-4 Bring a bathing suit and jump in or relax & recuperate around the pool with friends and good music! Pizzas/pastries & mimosas/aperol spritz will be provided. We know several people will be continuing on with their travels so no pressure to attend if you need to move on to the next leg of your trip. But if not, please swing by, hang, and say goodbye! (For those checking out you may bring your luggage with you.)
