Maid of Honor
I’m Karina. Paola’s big sister and maid of honor. Words cannot express how honored I am when she chose me. You see we are polar opposites, in every way, shape and form. Yet that doesn’t take away the love that I have for her since day one a few decades ago. I love watching Paola step into every role life has brought in for her. And I love that I can be a part of this journey of her becoming a wife.
Bridesmaid
Paola and I have been friends since third grade, and over the years, our bond has only grown stronger. Through laughter, tears, and countless memories, she’s been my constant. Now, as she begins this beautiful new chapter in her life, I couldn’t be happier for her. Paola, you deserve all the love and joy in the world. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness with your soulmate. I’m so proud of you and grateful for our friendship.

I met Paola in second grade, one of my earliest memories was when she got a ride home from her teacher because she missed the bus while helping grade after school. From that moment on, she got lots of school credit from our classmates. Paola and I grew up a street away from each other which was amazing. During my high school years she was the bestest friend I needed. Paola was there when I needed to be away from home, she saw lots of ugly crying (thanks for letting me sleep on your couch). When her mom would leave to Mexico, we always attempted to cook, and didn’t always succeed lol. Fast forward to today. I don’t think we cook much anymore but Paola shows her crafty side in everything she does I mean all this wedding customization is beautiful!

Paola is a very sweet caring person with a big heart. I have many special memories with her that I will cherish forever. Like becoming my nieces godmother I am truly blessed to be given the opportunity and trust. Paola has been very supportive with everything and for that I am grateful. I can truly say I have a wonderful sister in law and can’t wait to continue creating more memories together.

When Edgar brought Paola to meet us for the first time I knew she’d be the one for him. First and only girl he ever brought over so I knew she had to be special. There are so many good memories but one stands out. The day we found out she was expecting Valeria. Grateful that she loves my brother the way she does. One thing I am certain of; Paola and Edgar found what many desire, a soulmate. I am so happy I can be a part of their love story. I mean they don’t really have I choice. I’m the older sister!

I met Paola when Edgar introduced her to the family. We quickly clicked as she loved interacting with us and especially Yaretzi at the time. She became Yaretzi's nina along with Edgar. As time went on, she's been a great aunt with all my girls. I can't be more grateful for how she's treated them and continues to. My favorite memory is when she came over one day and was wearing a flared skirt. Yaretzi, at the time, might have been 4 years old and told her, " You look like a ballerina." We all just laughed and will still bring it up from time to time. I hope we continue to make memories with all the girls and family.

Best Man
I remember being 7 years old and awaiting to finally have a brother. Throughout the years, we've had many memories and bonded over common hobbies. I'm so proud of him and all his accomplishments.

Edgar is actually my cousin. We grew up together in the same house. My favorite memory with my cousin is when we would spend Christmas together as kids. I am happy for everything he has accomplished. He is a great person, a great dad, and I am sure he is going to be a great husband.

Edgar is my cousin. We actually grew up together in the same house for a while. We played together, wrestled together, played Yu-Gi-Oh together, and even played in the same soccer team together. My favorite memory of us would be playing soccer on the same team :)

I have known Edgar for about 10 years. We have grown closer over time. He has been a great guy. Edgar has done great things for me. Because of him I have my job. One of my earliest memories with Edgar is watching the Super Bowl 50 together. He has been a great uncle and a great dad. I am looking forward to making more memories with him and my aunt as life goes on.

I met Edgar in freshman highschool biology, and while I don’t remember much from that class I do remember the banter Edgar and I would have. Since then Edgar has been in and out of my life consistently. In more recent years he has been a constant presence as well as very good friend. He has been there to check in on me in my lows and I can tell you that if I ever needed help from Edgar, he wouldn’t hesistate to show up. I’m very blessed to have him in my life. I still get invited to his personal commemorative parties so we must have something special, right?
