We're getting married!

Let's take it back nearly eight years ago. Paola and Cris met while they were both working at a restaurant, Cris was a server and Paola was a hostess. He had asked a mutual friend of theirs to "hook him up" and she was hesitant at first. I mean, just take a look at that pretty face! She knew he would be trouble, a few days later they went on their first date and they have been best friends ever since.

After dating for six and a half years, Paola and Cris were both ready to take the next step. They had just bought their first home together, started new jobs and knew the next step would be getting engaged. Paola always said, Cris would not be able to pull of a secret proposal without her knowing but he got her good! Cris got Paola's parents involved and had them reach out to her to have some family pictures taken for christmas. He even played the part of "Do we really have to? Do I have to go?" so well that she sincerely had no idea what was coming! They got there that afternoon and he had set up a beautiful location with flowers and lanterns and both of their families present to witness the moment that he popped the big question! Paola was so happy she didn't even let him finish asking before she said "YES, of course!!!"
