Where is the best place to stay?

Answer

Our venue is located in the heart of downtown. There are so many options right around the corner from us. The two closest hotels are the Club Wydham and the Doubletree. We personally have never stayed at either location. Please book wherever you feel most comfortable, there are plenty of Ubers, scooters, and pedicabs to get around! Note: We recommend booking rooms early, April is a busy month in Austin.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, this venue is adults-only. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay within capacity for the venue. The number of guests invited will be shown when you RSVP!

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. Please no jeans, no shorts, no flip flops, no tennis shoes.

What will the wedding party be wearing?

Answer

Bridesmaids will be in black formal dresses, groomsmen will be in tuxedos.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors in the Allan House courtyard. Cocktail hour will be held inside the home. If there is a chance of rain, a tent covering the courtyard will be set up!

Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes, there is a free parking lot next-door to the venue reserved for 50 vehicles (505 W. 12th Street). Guests can park overnight, all vehicles must be moved by 10am the following day.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you arrive by 5:00pm to the ceremony. There will be passed champagne and sparkling water upon arrival. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm.

Who will be taking pictures?

Answer

We have a highly skilled photographer and videographer team that will be capturing our special day. We please ask you to refrain using your phones during our ceremony. We will share all photos with you as soon as we get them back. Thank you!
