What happens if there are still restrictions due to the Corona Virus?

Answer

Mandi and Tim are aware of the concerns around COVID-19, and they are diligently planning a safe celebration, hence we have transitioned to an outdoor event. We will also encourage the use of face masks and provide hand sanitizer. We will keep the website up-to-date with any changes, as well as contacting people via email of major changes. As of 9/4/2020, NC has entered into Phase 2.5 which lifted some restrictions for outdoor events. The celebration will be in compliance with the Phase 2.5 guidelines.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Guests counts are needed by 9/15/20 to finalize details. Please RSVP by this date.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Tim and I wish for our guests to be comfortable. Please feel free to wear what makes you feel your best, whether that is jeans or a dress. Please note that the celebration will be held in a grassy backyard. Heels are not encouraged, particularly skinny, pointy heels that may sink in the ground. We are just glad that you will be apart of our happiness.

What time should I arrive at the celebration?

Answer

The celebration will begin at 3:30 pm. We ask that all guests are seated by 3:20 pm.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Plus ones are welcome; however, we do ask that you include them in your RSVP for an accurate guest count. We have a very small venue, and the guest count will need to be monitored to ensure everyone is comfortable.

Yes! Please see our Registry page on the website to donate to our chosen charities, honeymoon fund, or small items that we would like to upgrade when combining two households.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is very limited at the house itself; therefore, we have arranged for pick ups at the Manor House at Tanglewood and Messiah Moravian Church. A white passenger van will provide pick up and drop offs according to a schedule to be determined by mid-September. Do I need to download anything to join a Zoom session?

Answer

No! Our website is equipped with Zoom to make joining a session easy. Simply got to the Events page, click on the "Go to Virtual Event" button. Instantly access the session on the page. One thing to be sure when joining a Zoom session is to unmute your microphone. There will be a small microphone icon in the bottom left corner. Be sure that it does not have a line through it.

Simply click on the link provided in your invitation. There is no need to download anything or create an account. You can view the event by just utilizing the link provided on a PC, Mac, or a smartphone.
