What is the dress code?
Answer
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is formal attire. No jeans please! Make sure all heals are grass ready too.

Is the ceremony children-friendly?
Answer
The ceremony is an adult affair only. We are hiring babysitters that will be located in the main house. Just let us know on you rsvp if you'd like to have your little ones close by on the day.

Can I take pictures?
Answer
We are having an "Unplugged Ceremony" (no phones or cameras). We will have a "social media minute" where you can take out your phones and snap a pic of the bride and groom at the alter. The greatest gift you could give us is being present as we say "I do". We have hired a wonderful professional to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we recive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures as you like!

Which hotel should I book?
Answer
We have a hotel block under the name, “Colt-Weiss Family Celebration” at The Hampton Inn Seattle/Redmond. The hotel block is booked for Friday and Saturday night, but you may also add three days before or after at the same block rate. Just click the link on our travel page and you should be redirected to the Hampton booking page.

How should I get from the hotel to the ceremony?
Answer
A shuttle will leave from the hotel at 3:30 and 4 pm (the venue is 7 minutes away). The shuttle will return guests to the Hampton inn starting at 11 pm and will be in service until 2 am.

How do I get from SeaTac airport to Redmond?
Answer
You can use Seattle's light rail system which can take you from SeaTac to University of Washington (UW). From there, it's an 18 minute uber to the Hampton Inn Seattle/Redmond. Or you can just uber directly from the airport to the Hampton Inn, which is about a 23 minute drive.

Will there be a bar?

Yes! You may drink the second you get to the property and all night long!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outside?
Answer
The ceremony will be outdoors. Make sure your heals are grass ready! The reception and dacing will be indoor/outdoor.

What will the weather be like in late august in Redmond?
Answer
The weather should be in the 70’s max 80 and dip into the 60’s once the sun has set. Sunset isn’t until 8 pm and won’t be totally dark until about 10 pm.
