What island is the wedding located on?

Answer

Kauai. We recommend guests to arrive a few days early or stay a few days after. That way you can continue to explore the island of Kauai or you can hop to another island!

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

The Lihue airport. This is the only airport in Kauai. It's about 30 minutes from the venue!

Where is the wedding venue?

Answer

The Beach House Restaurant! It's located in the Poipu beach area on the south side of the island! 5022 Lawai Rd, Koloa, HI 96756 (808) 742-1424

Where should I stay?

Answer

You should book your accommodation near the venue in the Poipu area! The island only has one major highway so to avoid any unforeseen circumstances and delays the day of, it is suggested to stay in the Poipu area for that weekend. There are several hotels, VRBOs, and AirBNBs in that area (please visit the travel section of our website). Also, sharing a multi-bedroom place could really help save money!

Should I rent a car?

Answer

Yes! There are very few Ubers so you’ll need a car to get around. When renting your car, if you book through https://www.kauairentacar.com and mention that you are apart of the wedding group for Marissa and Connor King they will provide a discount for your trip!! Sharing rental cars can definitely help save some money.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We're so excited to be celebrating this day with our closest family and friends and are keeping the guest list limited. Unless a guest is noted on your invitation and the RSVP card, we ask that you do not bring a plus one. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Keep an eye out for the schedule tab on our wedding website. We will be updating this section shortly with further details for the welcome party / rehearsal dinner!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a trolley at 3 designated areas that can transport some guests to The Beach House and back. Keep an eye out for the schedule tab, for further details closer to the date.

Are the ceremony and the reception held at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Both will be at The Beach House.

Why is the reception over at 9:30?

Answer

Hawaii has a "no-noise" rule after 10 pm.

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?

Answer

It is an outdoor venue. The wedding reception will be under a tent!
