Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Seacoast Science Center in Rye, New Hampshire, inside of Odiorne State Park. A note about the venue: The Seacoast Science Center is a non-profit marine science education organization located within the beautiful and historical Odiorne Point State Park in Rye, New Hampshire. The Center's mission is to "spark curiosity, enhance understanding, and inspire the conservation of our Blue Planet". We will have access to the ocean center, so please go check out the incredible exhibits! The Seacoast Science Center and Odiorne Point State Park are on N’dakinna land, which is the traditional ancestral homeland of the Abenaki, Pennacook and Wabanaki Peoples past and present.

What is the itinerary? When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm. Please arrive around 4pm to get settled so we can begin on time. Cocktail hour will begin at 5pm, followed by the reception - including dinner and dancing! We will wrap things up by 10:30pm.

What should I wear? Are we going to be outdoors?

Answer

Semi-formal. Wear something that makes you feel like your most beautiful and joyful self. Bring your dancing shoes! Our venue is right on the ocean, so it may be chilly and breezy at night. This time of year it can dip into the 50s at night. The ceremony will be held outdoors on grass and the reception will be held under a heated tent.

Is transportation provided? Where do I park? Where do I go when I arrive?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided. There is ample parking at the venue for free. When you arrive, you will enter through the Odiorne State Park gate and head towards the right towards the large parking lot. Look for the Seacoast Science Center upon arrival and head out to the grass for the ceremony. You will see the chairs set up.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We absolutely love kids! However, in order to give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we kindly request no children attend. Give yourselves a date night!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We kindly request that only those named on the wedding invitation attend the celebration. This helps us ensure that we can accommodate all our guests comfortably and make the day as special as possible for everyone. Thank you for your understanding.

I have food allergies/specific dietary needs. Will there be anything for me to eat?

Answer

Yes! We want to make sure everyone is able to eat! There will be vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and soy-free options. If you would specifically like a vegan meal for dinner or have other dietary questions and concerns, please reach out to Olivia directly.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 3, 2024. Please RSVP through our website if possible (instructions on invitation). If you have any trouble with this, please feel free to reach out to us directly. If you have any issues RSVPing, please reach out to us!

Open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have an open bar from 5-9:30pm. Please drink responsibly :) Uber and Lyft services are available in the area. You are allowed to leave your car in the parking lot overnight if needed, but please note that the gate to the park does not open until 9:00am the next morning.
