Our wedding weekend on Block Island starts with a Welcome Party on Friday, June 24 at Ballards - a beach bar that you can see immediately to your left as you pull up on the ferry. THe party is open to all wedding guests. Most hotels and rentals on the island require a two night stay, so we thought a Welcome Party with a beach bonfire would be a great way to get the weekend started!
Our wedding ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 25 at 3pm at The Sullivan House, on the grass overlooking the water. It will be followed by a reception in the same location. The reception will end at 9pm (due to sound ordinances).
After the reception, the fun will continue at nearby by bar, Captain Nicks. There will be some late night pizza and dancing with a live band. Wrist bands will be provided as you leave the wedding reception.
