Sunflower Caffe is a fantastic breakfast spot right on the town square! They don't take reservations so I would go earlier rather than later, but they have the BEST back patio with beautiful greenery.
El Dorado Kitchen is inside a hotel on the square. We don't come to Sonoma without eating her at least once. Our faves are the carbonara and the veggie risotto.
We usually use VJB as the lunch stop during a day of wine tasting. They have a cool courtyard patio that allows seating for large groups of people, and you can order pizza from their Italian deli on site!
Arrowood is a smaller winery inside of a house in Glen Ellen, CA. Tom and I love it here because it's a lot more personal of a tasting than some of the bigger wineries. Also, it right up the driveway from another cool place we love: Imagery Winery!
Imagery is right next door to Arrowood. It is a bit bigger and has a fun outdoor lawn game area. Also, in our experience, there's normally cute dogs here!
Viansa is great for 2 reasons: they have great views, and they have food (not every winery has food so keep that in mind!). Also, they have a Razorback statue in the front similar to the one at the University of Arkansas. Go Hogs!!!
If you're looking to splurge on a cool experience while in town, Kunde has the most beautiful private mountaintop tasting. The views are unmatched, and the wine is delicious. They also give you a cool tour of the grounds (including the wine cave).
Just a good old fashioned dive bar. If Tom's not on a golf course in Sonoma, he'll be here.
They have karaoke on Thursdays and live music most Saturday nights!
Who doesn't love tapas?
A good place if you're wanting to try Mexican food that's not Tex-Mex! Ash goes for the jalapeño margarita.
