The advertising geeks will fully appreciate this one. This particular shop is not very big, but if you get a chance to do the tour and make your own print, you have an awesome souvenir that won't be forgotten.
Conveniently located, this museum is not just worthy for those who love country music. The design of the building and memorabilia inside are interesting for any type of music fan.
You can spend an afternoon browsing SO MANY PLACES along this street of boutique businesses. Personal favorites for shopping and eating include Five Daughters Bakery, White's Mercantile, Frothy Monkey, Las Paletas, Urban Grub, and Judith Bright.
Even if you don't like bourbon or whiskey, the story of how this place started will get you hooked. Be on the lookout for their Belle Meade Bourbon as it is an award-winning spirit that Nick and Alyssa's dad, Randy, are big fans of.
Think mini-Bourbon Street. Filled with dive bars and speakeasies, this little area has become one of our favorite, and less crowded, spots in Nashville. Miss Kelly's karaoke is a classic. Also, the Bobby's Rooftop, Bobby's Garage Bar, and Rare Bird Rooftop Bar are incredible. Stateside Kitchen is delicious. Don't miss this area!
This coffee shop used to be a pet store. This is why the names of the drinks are all inspired by dogs! Alyssa's old dance studio used to be down the road, so she has freqented this shop. This strip of 21st Ave also has a lot of shops and other restaurants for spending time on an afternoon.
For a barbecue option that also is a little more upscale, try this place in Germantown. Nick and Alyssa have been numerous times and enjoyed every bite.
This is not your typical Indian food. The space is colorful and options are many thanks to Chopped judge Maneet Chauhan. Don't forget to try the Saffron beer, which is a favorite of Nick's!
From the salads to the pasta to the cake, trust us that the food has been approved! Not to mention, the breezy vibe is picturesque.
This is one unique space where your coffee convo turns into lunch and then dinner. You could spend all day here! This club on a hill also boasts a cute patio and bowling lanes. Reserve ahead if you wish to bowl!
A fun bar close to Music Row in Nashville, if you want to grab a cocktail while avoiding tourists!
Come for the tasty wine, but stay for the gorgeous atmosphere. It is a bit of a drive out, so please designate a driver or hire a company to take you out there. (You could try your luck with Uber). You might spot founder Kix Brooks walking around the grounds!
If you want to venture away from honky Tonks and high rises, head just south of Nashville to Franklin. You will find a quaint downtown with walkable shops and restaurants. It is also a great place for history buffs of the group as there are many sites of Civil War battles and Antebellum homes.
Everyone is obsessed with this place, and this one is in The Gulch-another area worth walking around (if nothing more than to see the "Wings Mural").
A gorgeous historical hotel worthy of looking around, eating a nice dinner, or grabbing a cocktail. Alyssa's parents got married here!
We already gave a shoutout to the 12 South atmosphere, but this restaurant is so good that it needed it's own spot on the map.
There are many BBQ places in Nashville, but this award-winning meat is a personal favorite.
This is a late, late, late night bar for when you don't care what the bar looks or smells like. Tucked away in a trailer, you might spot a famous singer goofing off with some karaoke.
A great live music venue for all genres other than country in one of the hippest neighborhoods. This is a personal recommendation from a professional musician- Alyssa's cousin Parker.
Just a 20 minute drive from downtown Nashville, walk around this GIANT Hotel that was host to many Christmas memories for the Hartley family. Try not to get lost through all of the different areas of the hotel, where you can literally ride a boat inside and watch a huge fountain show.
If you want to get a little outdoors in the system, but don't want to go far, head to Radnor Lake State Park. It's a short drive from downtown and filled with shorter hiking trails.
