FAQs

Question

What COVID precautions will you be taking?

Answer

Due to the recent increase of COVID-19 cases and the Delta variant, Kennedy Space Center has updated their face mask policy. All guests, including those vaccinated against COVID-19, are required to wear face coverings in all indoor locations. This includes all attractions, attraction queues/lines, show viewing areas, restaurant and buses. Guests who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are not required to wear face coverings outdoors. https://www.kennedyspacecenter.com/info/coronavirus

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP no later than October 1st, 2021. We hope to celebrate with you!

Question

Will you be live streaming your ceremony?

Answer

We are currently researching our options and hope to livestream the ceremony to family and friends that we may not be able to invite to the in-person event.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We request that you follow a semi-formal dress code (tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses). The wedding party will be in various shades of blue.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Your presence is enough of a gift, but should you wish to like to give a gift, we are registered with the following stores: Target: tgt.gifts/jessjasonwedding Home Depot: https://www.homedepot.com/list/view/details/shared/f3659760-b219-11eb-b245-f5be325b08a9/Jason

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately our venue is limited to 60 guests (this includes all vendors and the happy couple). If you have not been extended an invitation for a plus one, please do not invite any additional guests. Thank you!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your kids, our venue can only accommodate 60 guests, so we unfortunately cannot extend an invitation to children at this time. Infants may attend as they are not counted by Kennedy Space Center towards the final guest count.

Question

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

We don't have a hotel block at this time! The "discounted" hotel block rates we have quoted are more expensive than the standard rates available online. We have made some hotels suggestions on the 'Travel' page of our website.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking will available near the entrance of the Visitor Complex. Please check back for additional details regarding parking passes or costs.

Question

Kennedy Space Center security

Answer

ALL guests will be subjected to a security check at the entrance. This may include a bag search and a metal detector screening. The following items are NOT allowed on Kennedy Space Center property: - Flasks/personal alcohol - Weapons of any kind (guns, knives, pepper spray, live ammunition, fireworks, etc.) - Large bags, hard sided coolers, or luggage - Wrapped items Please note, Kennedy Space Center is federal property and policed by federal law enforcement. Please be mindful and respectful of their presence while traveling on property.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 6:00PM to ensure there are no delays.

Question

Will you be having an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will be having an unplugged ceremony. We have hired a wonderful photographer to capture photos of the entire day. We kindly ask that all phones and other electronic devices be put away and silenced during the ceremony to allow our photographer to capture the best photos possible! Please feel free to take photos before and after the ceremony and use the hashtag #ReyesToLaunch.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! You can make your diet preferences and restrictions known when you RSVP and we will pass that information on to Kennedy Space Center’s catering team. Please note that food items may contain one or more of the following: peanuts, soy, wheat, shellfish, fish, milk, eggs, and tree nuts.
