This is the newest hotel in Rome, Ga and is beautifully situated in downtown Rome. It's a 29-minute drive to Proctor Farm. 1 minute drive to downtown or a beautiful walk! Reservations can be made by calling 706-295-7006. Check in is at 3pm. Check out is at noon. Baggage can be checked for those arriving early or for those attending functions on departure day. $154/night plus taxes and fees. This block of rooms will be released back to general inventory (and regular pricing) after 9/27/19.

Days Inn by Wyndham Rome Downtown

This hotel is a 30 minute drive from Proctor Farm and a 4 minute drive to downtown Rome. Free breakfast and WiFi are included. Check in is at 2:30, but they will allow early check-in if rooms are ready. Check out is 11am. Hotel will store your bags, if needed. You will need to call versus using the hotel website to get the discounted price of $89/night plus tax, which is held until 10/1/19; after that, the block is returned to inventory and the regular rate of $109/night applies.

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Rome, GA

This hotel is a 35-minute drive to Proctor Farm and a 4 minute drive to downtown Rome. The hotel provides a free continental breakfast and coffee and cookies 24/7! Free WiFi as well. Check in is at 3pm, but you need an early check-in, just call and they will do their best to accommodate that. If not, they will happily store your luggage in the back office where it is monitored via cameras. Check out is noon. The block price of $99 plus tax for a king OR a double queen room will be held until 10/24. After that, the rates are actually variable, kind of like the airlines. So, don't wait if this is the place you want to be!

While this hotel is in the area and we secured a few rooms, this would be our LAST choice for you, based on online reviews. So, check out the other hotels on our list first! There are both King and double Queen rooms available. The rooms come with free WiFi and a free continental breakfast. $104/night The drive time to Proctor Farm from this hotel is 23 minutes. Drive time to downtown Rome is 6 minutes.

Flight

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport (ATL)

ATL is the closest airport with the most flights going into it...BUT please be prepared to spend a lot of time traveling just WITHIN the airport. You will need to take a train from your arrival to rental car area. If you are coordinating arrivals with other friends/family, be advised that there are multiple terminals at this airport. The airport is under construction and the signage (at least when I was there in May) was NOT good. Really hoping to see that improved after 6 months, but we aren't going to count on it. Once you get a rental car, your drive is a little over an hour to the west. Rush hour in Atlanta is no joke, so please keep that in mind as you make your travel plans. However, all that being said, we promise the trip will be worth it!! Rome, GA is a gem of a place and the wedding is going to be magical!
