Our story is simply one of God's perfect timing. How two people who lived in different states, born at different times, and involved in different circles of life could ever meet is remarkable. Now add these people getting married to the story. That is nothing short of a miracle. Yet when you look at the grand picture, you can start to see the subtle details of this love story unfold. Jordan moved from Memphis, Tennessee to Arkansas to then eventually be apart of a church (City Church) in Conway. Jordan then after 3 years living in Conway took a job coaching at Dallas Baptist University. Ashley, growing up in Texas, made the decision to stay in Dallas and attend Dallas Baptist University. Where the story starts to unfold is all God. Ashley was heavily involved in Young Life as a teen, and that passion continued on as she mentored young High Schoolers in the Young Life organization in college. Through her serving she would meet a friend who would eventually be an intern at City Church where Jordan attended in Conway. Little did we know this friend would be the one who would eventually introduce us and completely change our lives forever. So you see, God was really orchestrating every college decision, every move for a job, every retreat, every camp, to bring us to that day we first met. We thought we had everything planned and figured out. Thankfully the Lord had bigger and better plans for us than what we had for ourselves. Our favorite phrase that we often say to each other is "You and Me". We believe that "Love" is a choice, therefore it takes a daily call to die to ourselves and put each others interests ahead of our own. This idea of "You and Me" is an assurance that we are in this together. That no matter what circumstances may arise, there will still always be "You and Me."
