We met in middle school at North Hills. Olivia's first memory of Kris was picking up a pencil for him in seventh-grade science class and getting asked about him on a daily basis by his soccer friends. Kris's first memory of Olivia was in the auditorium when he saw her for the first time. He told his friends, and they harassed him until he had the courage to say hi to her. He finally got the courage to ask her to junior prom in eleventh grade, and we were both so shy that we barely spoke. After high school, we became best friends. We hung out almost every day after we graduated until we went to college. Fast forward to the summer going into sophomore year of college, Kris asked Olivia on a date while she was on vacation in Saint Simons, and the rest is history.

Kris proposed to Olivia on a trip to Saint Simons Island in Georgia over winter break. Kris came up with this elaborate plan to go somewhere fancy for his birthday lunch and involved both of Olivia's parents. We planned to go for a run together on the beach before going to lunch. We had to sprint through two feet of water to make it back to the condo to be on time for the "birthday lunch." After a bike ride to the beautiful Isle of the Oaks golf course, Olivia notices a photographer taking pictures of a girl and comments, "Awe she must be taking senior photos." Little did she know that the photographer was for them. We parked our bikes and started walking towards the photographer where Kris popped the big question! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
