We can’t wait to begin celebrating with you! If you will be coming to town before the Traditional Nigerian Ceremony and are looking for something to do Wednesday night, please join us to kick start the festivities!
4:00 pm - 11:00 pm
The purpose of this traditional Nigerian celebration is to allow the two families to embrace each other, to show that both are committed to supporting the marriage and want to celebrate. It will be joyful and colorful and full of many things Nigerians love, such as singing, dancing, praying, talking, laughing, and of course eating! The menu will be full-on Nigerian, so attendees will get to sample dishes like jollof rice, egusi-stew, and puff-puff. Overall, traditional Yoruba weddings celebrate culture, family, and love. They are a beautiful and meaningful way to honor the union between two people.
