Hotel

Casale de Pasquinelli

Casale de’ Pasquinelli is located in the hills of Lucca in Tuscany. Thanks to its favourable climate for growing olives and grapes, many farms and numerous villas, today famous for their extraordinary beauty, began to appear in this area around the sixteenth century. The apartments of Villa Pasquinelli enjoy a spectacular view over the plain of Lucca and are surrounded by oaks and olive trees which produce an olive oil of excellent quality apart from fruit, honey and vegetables, all of which are all available for our guests. Recently restored, the villa has four spacious apartments: Camelia, Orchidea, Melograno and Ginestra. Casale de Pasquinelli Address: via per san pietro, Via Segromigno in Monte, 34, 55012 Lucca LU, Italy

Shuttle

BUS from Lucca to Casale de Pasquinelli

June 1, 2025 4:15 pm

We have booked a bus to take all our guests from the Lucca Train Station to our venue. It’s a 30 minute drive. Apparently, taxis and Ubers are insanely expensive (200$ for one trip to the venue). The bus will leave at 4:15 and arrive around 4:45. TJ and Annika (our man and matron of honor) and my dad will be there to help/greet everyone to help them on the bus. Drew and I will welcome everyone at the venue. PLEASE don’t miss the bus because we would hate for you to spend that much money to get to the venue. Lucca Train Station Address: viale 55100, Viale Camillo Benso Cavour, 15, 55100 Lucca LU, Italy https://www.italiarail.com/train-station/lucca-train-station-guide

Travel Note

ETIAS Info

ETIAS HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO LAUNCH UNTIL MARCNH 2026 - you DO NOT need this to get to Italy for the wedding. But, we have info about it below if you are traveling to Europe in the future. https://www.etias.org/etias-application-form/ An ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) is an electronic screening system for passport holders granted visa-free access to the European Union (EU) and Schengen Area. How do I get an ETIAS? Travelers heading to the Europe Union after the start in mid-2025 should submit their ETIAS application before departure. The ETIAS application requires some basic information such as personal biometric data (name, date of birth, etc.), valid passport data, destination within the EU, general background information from the applicant, and history of immigration to the EU (if applicable). The fee for the ETIAS application is €7. Anyone traveling to the EU, regardless of age, must submit an ETIAS application, if travel is for business, leisure, or transit purposes, and if it is less than 90 days in duration. The application fee is waived for travelers under age 18, or over age 70. In many cases, an ETIAS approval decision takes only minutes. In most other cases, travelers can expect to be notified of their ETIAS status within 96 hours of application. If additional information is required, the approval process may take up to four weeks. Travelers without an ETIAS may not be allowed to board flights to Europe, or will likely be denied entry upon arriving in the EU. Once you are sent your confirmation ETIAS info - SAVE IT - you will need it at customs once arriving in Europe.
