Kristen and Will met on a dating app called "Hinge." Their first conversation was about bagels, which remains a pillar of their relationship today. More connections grew and they decided to go on a date. Kristen and Will’s first date was at Felipe’s Taqueria in Cambridge, MA. They got drinks at the roof top bar. When it got too cold, they decided to move to the inside bar. On the way, they both decided to use the restroom. A few minutes later, Will sat at the bar and waited for his date to return. He waited…and waited…and waited. Soon, he became nervous that his date had left the bar after hearing he was an Ohio State fan. Meanwhile.... On the complete other side of the bar, separated by a large wooden beam, sat Kristen. She was mortified thinking that her date had left. She began anxiously texting her best friend Erika (Matron of Honor). Erika tried to convince Kristen she wasn’t being ditched… but if otherwise, she should “see if the bartender is single.” Right when they were both about to give up and leave, Will decided to send a text "just in case." At that moment, Kristen pops her head around the wooden beam with a huge smile on her face. Will's kept Kristen smiling ever since.
