Officiant and Little Brother
Nan and Tim met in 1988 and immediately hit it off. In the summertime, Nan made sure Tim had pretend school sessions and it seemed to stick. If you were to choose anyone to officiate a wedding, why not choose two college professors? Tim is excited to be there as the couple starts their next step.
Officiant and Little Brother
Frank is thrilled to be starring in this side production as Rev. Frank with his fellow lead, Brother Tim. Thanks go out to his family who have all come out to see him today, as well as the crew who have worked so hard to put this production together. Finally a big thank-you to the director for giving his sister and brother small speaking roles in this production as Nan and D. Happy to have Nan back on stage after all these years, and Frank is looking forward to seeing this perfect duo have a long happy career together. Lots of love to them both.
Stand-In Father (Older Brother) and Bridesmaid
Mark looks so much like his father, John (deceased 2013), that he has given heart attacks to John's former colleagues who were worried they'd seen an apparition. It's the best case when the stunt double really looks like the actor in question, makes it easier on the CG artists to blend out the accidental shots. Dolly is truly indescribable, smart, beautiful, funny, and a cheeky ninja assassin for hire.
Ring Bearer
Nevaeh is really excited to be the ring bearer and celebrate with everyone. She is excited for the fun party with new friends that is going to happen. "I love my parents forever and ever and ever and ever. I'm also excited for mom and dad to get married, and the dress I get to wear and the cake!"
Best Man
Hi, Nan is freaking awesome and D is cool too. Love, Mike.
Matron of Honor and Groomsman
Katy and Dirk are two of many siblings from Nan’s side of the family, and are raising four kids and a dog in the Lansing area. They’re both engineers and faculty members at Michigan State University, and hold no grudges about D’s preference for the Maize and Blue. Nan was Maid of Honor at their wedding, and they are so happy to celebrate Nan and De’Andre!
Maid of Honor
Nan and Sarah met in 2008 while working as locker room attendants at a fitness center. Perhaps the endless hours in the laundry room together folding towels was a special bonding experience, but since Nan laughed at all her silly jokes, Sarah knew she was a keeper. Sarah lives in Ann Arbor with her 5-year-old son, and works as a buyer in automotive manufacturing. Nothing in this life means anything without friends and family, and Sarah is grateful to help celebrate Nan and D’s union. “I cannot say how proud I am of Nan – she is smart, hard-working, funny, kind, and absolutely beautiful. Nan is honest & true, and I am so happy she and D get to share their lives and dreams together. May they enjoy many years of love & laughter!”
Bridesmaid & Groomsman
Sierra and D were High School aquaintances, who turned into close friends shortly after D met her husband, Noe, over eight years ago, while working at McKinley together. Noe and Sierra have considered D a part of their family and have welcomed Nan as a lovely addition! "We cherish our friendship and wish both D and Nan nothing but the best from this day forward!"
Bridesmaid
Nan and I have been friends since kindergarten. We have weathered a lot of life together - the good, the bad, and the WHAT?!!? From grade school to graduation, prom to bridesmaids, Taurus's to Tempo's, and celebrations to severe personal loss. So grateful for you and our friendship that can pick up right where we left off, despite the miles between us or the time that has elapsed. Forever honored that I get to be a part of you and De'Andre's big day. After Matt and I got to meet him, it was obvious You + Him = Blessed. Love you guys!!

I met De'Andre in middle school when he moved to Ypsilanti. Once in high school our friendship grew and he's been stuck with me ever since. I am beyond proud of how much he's grown as a man, DJ and the best dad ever! Couldn't ask for a better guy to call my brother. Welcome to the family Nan!

Friends from Track & Field in High School, to DJ Events, to everyday life. My brother from another mother.
Groomsman
As Nan’s literal “brother from another mother”. Rob grew up with Nan and the Luchini family. Rob had the pleasure of meeting D early on over lunch. It was very clear Nan and D shared a bond and they are lucky to have found each other. He is honored to be a part of the celebration for Nan and D.

I’m one of De’Andre’s closest & probably favorite cousin. I’m more of a brother to him if you ask me personally. I’m so proud to say & see my cuz/bro has truly found the one. Throughout all the years he has given his heart to the wrong people it’s indeed Great to know someone has finally given their heart back to him. And let’s just be honest...who better than Nan to be able to lock DJ Skoobe down lol...I love you both dearly and I would say welcome to the family Nan but that would be an understatement seeing as how u were already family way before the engagement so all I can say is congratulations again u guys. Oh, & Dre, since it’s all the way official now, if you hurt her you gotta answer to not only her side of the family but you know I’m gone have words for you too lol...Love you two

I had the pleasure of meeting Nan and De'Andre 3 years ago and I am grateful for the friendship we've built over the years. I wish you all of the best as you embark on this wonderful journey.

I was a Party Promoter when I met De’Andre in 2000-2001. Our crew of friends linked then to start promoting events together. Shortly afterwards I discovered how good a DJ he was, and linked him with the DJ’s I knew to try and help support that. In return he taught me how to DJ, hooked me up with a summer job working with him doing maintenance, and even an apartment. It wasn’t long before we were good friends and now family! He’s always been there for me and my wife, Chelsea, over the years too. He’s just a genuinely good person, so it’s great to see him with someone who mirrors his kindness & ambitions, & who supports him in all his endeavors, not to mention having helped him grow into an even better man. I’m more than happy to see he and Nan take this next step!
