Manisha Patel

Mother of the Bride

Chetna Purohit

Mother of the Groom

Yogesh Patel

Father of the Bride

Kanak Purohit

Father of the Groom

Bianca Patel

Maid of Honor

If you ask Bianca, Niki's sure she'll tell you that the gift of a baby sister is her favorite gift she's ever received. Spend two minutes with these sisters and you'll know, they can go from fighting, to crying, to laughing, to hugging in the span of 5 minutes (pro-tip, don't sit in the middle carseat between these two for this very reason). Niki has always held the belief that how does one get on in life without a sister, as Bianca has been Niki's role model and second-mom who shaped who she is as a person today. As self appointed maid-of-honor at Binu Didi's wedding, Niki is cashing in on it being 'her turn' and handing over the crown to her favorite person since day one.

Bhumi Purohit

Best Woman

The Quintessential Older Sibling. Without Bhumi setting the example, Priyank likely wouldn't have travelled the world, opened his mind, or gotten into UNC. Despite fighting all through childhood, they continue to grow closer as they grow older. And for that reason, he can't think of anybody better to stand by his side.

Anurag Satsangi

Groomsman

The "Keeps the Party Going" Brother-in-Law. Anurag, Niki and Priyank's brother-in-law, spent a few years in Chicago, and that time was filled with late night YouTube parties where Anurag re-introduced Priyank and Niki to the 'second-tier' Bollywood hits of the 90s. Anurag is the kind of host that will always ensure your glass stays filled and the night is filled with laughter -- an essential aspect to Future Thanksgiving Crew.

Vinay Taylor

Groomsman

The Classy Brother-in-Law. After moving from the UK, Vinay and Priyank quickly bonded over the best pizza that has ever existed: Randy's on Davis Drive in Morrisville. Besides their love for pizza, they also share similar sarcastic views on corporate America. Luckily, one of them has gotten out.

Krystal Bordner

Bridesmaid

Over the years Bianca, Niki, and Krystal have amassed a few pseudonyms, the Girls, Girlsroom, Girls2Ladiez, Trio, Deedsters, all depicting how these girls are attached by the hip. When you've grown up with someone through all of their different phases, the love runs deeper. Between ash-tray smores in India to first time surfing in Cali, Niki couldn't imagine not having her sister by her side for more shenanigans.

Alvin Ong

Groomsman

The Rational Friend. Alvin and Priyank met in middle school connecting over their NJ roots and have been rocking together ever since. They share a love for amazing eats (Alvin introduced Sushi to Priyank), constant sports banters, bourbons & whiskies, and most importantly 2000s R&B classics by Neyo, Usher, Trey Songz, and Plies.

Shivani Dave

Bridesmaid

It wasn't love at first site with Shivani and Niki, but it took less than a year before these two became inseparable. Co-captains, roommates, study buddies, slope sistas, and unlikely best friends, these two became attached by the hip starting sophomore year of college. At the surface you may not see too much in common between these two, but if you dive deep into the friendship you'll find similar interests in wine, whining, spongebob jokes, AIM conversations, and more. Look out for Shivs' dance moves at the reception between swigs of Vod/Sods.

Adam Boghosian

Groomsman

The YOLO Friend. After meeting in Health class in 7th grade, Bogo and Priyank have grown their friendship through a balance of opposites. Bogo brings the spur of the moment decisions while Priyank brings risk aversion. Despite their different perspectives, Bogo and Priyank together love to love the little things in life: breakfast vibes, diners, mediocre rap songs, and cruising in the city blasting music (and snapchatting while doing it).

Neha Contractor

Bridesmaid

Niki met Neha during move-in week at college, and it was an immediate friendship. Niki and Neha proceeded to follow each other after college to Charlotte and Chicago, and now as two residents of Chi-city, their friendship has become equivalent to family. On Saturdays in Chicago, you'll find these two searching for the perfect brunch or tea, but settling for booze instead, and laying on the couch belting out to Bollywood music videos. You'll recognize Neha on the dance floor as the encyclopedia of both Bollywood and American music lyrics, not missing a single line.

Bhavik Lakhani

Groomsman

The Wildcard Friend. Bhavik came to Priyank's dorm freshman year with the new Mortal Kombat in his hand. Though they have since stopped playing video games together since Bhavik is significantly better, their friendship has evolved to bigger and better things: biking in Chicago, getting dairy-free "frozen yogurt", and BYO restaurants. During wedding week, you can expect Bhavik to ... actually Bhavik is the ultimate wildcard so you never know what to expect and that's his best quality.

Khushboo Golani

Bridesmaid

Khushboo and Niki met move-in week at UNC, and with Khushboo, Niki knew she had struck a heart of gold. It didn't take long before these two were bonding over Chipotle burrito bowls, Hallmark movies, baking (and eating) cheesecakes and a shared love for anything cozy. Khushboo's subtle sense of humor and quick one-liners makes her Priyank's favorite person to Facetime on Sundays. Niki owes her fashion trajectory (although still pretty poor) to Khushboo's influence, so look out for Khushboo at the wedding with her impeccable style!

Neal Patel

Groomsman

The Travel Buddy. After initially studying abroad together in Istanbul and trying to cook terrible Indian food when they missed home, Neal and Priyank have since travelled through 10+ countries. Neal also taught Priyank an important life skill: how to drive stick shift. Besides being a great travel buddy and a great friend, Neal also serves as Priyank's bank anytime there is straight cash needed because nobody carries cash in 2022 besides Neal.

Yasmine Mirza

Bridesmaid

How can one describe a friendship that has endured 20 years? Apart from family, Yasmine and Niki's friendship is the oldest of the bridesmaids which makes them more like family. Yasmine befriended Niki when she was a nerdy 4th grader with limited-too fashion and for that she'll always be grateful. From late night Mario Parties, to trips around the world, to navigating those teenage spirits, these two have truly been through it all.

Savan Kothadia

Groomsman

The Artsy Friend. After laying down raps at the UNC studio, Savan and Priyank bonded over things that nobody else seemed to care about: National Geographic, Wildlife photography, Subarus, Big Daddy quotes, and random facts. Every time Priyank is at a trivia night, he always seems to say "Wish Savan was here. He would know this."

Priyanka Sundaram

Bridesmaid

Niki and Priyanka's friendship grew in high school, when these two not-so-good drivers would blast music and belt lyrics in small-town NC. She is the best friend of dreams, the kind of friend you can call at 2am to cry, laugh, and vent, but also the kind that each time you call, one needs to create an agenda of topics (that often gets derailed either way). At the wedding, she'll be the one with the big smile on her face, bringing all the joy to everyone she meets.

Arjun Puri

Groomsman

The "How are they friends?" Friend. Arjun and Priyank met in college through a double date. They spent 2 hours watching a movie in a dorm and barely said a few words to one another. Their relationship hasn't changed much since then. It's mostly silence combined with a lot of "do you ever think about how ....?" and funny references that both get without much context.

Aakansha Gor

Bridesmaid

Aakansha and Niki's friendship has grown organically over the past decade, and has culminated in becoming Chi-city besties. Don't be fooled by her very cute and petite exterior, Aaku's sweet sense of sass and her impeccable one-liners are Niki's favorite thing about her. Niki and Aakansha's date nights in the city are filled with nonstop laughter and wine. You'll recognize Aaku on the dance floor as the one following Niki around, making sure she is drinking sufficient vod-sods.

Parth Gandhi

Groomsman

The Glue Guy. No matter where he goes, Parth brings the energy and good vibes. Having both spent a small amount of their childhood in India, Parth and Priyank understand the obscure references like "Phir Hera Pheri" quotes that nobody else seems to understand. More recently, they both have taken a particular interest in Martinis (Extra Dry and lil' dirty, please). Parth is also the ultimate "glue guy" bridging the gap between Priyank's high school friends and college friends.

Vishalee Patel

Bridesmaid

Vishalee and Niki's friendship can only be equated to 'Love at First Sight'. They met at UNC's 'CTOPs' Orientation, when they found out they were living in the same dorm, and the rest is history. Vishalee is the type of best friend who will celebrate you for every one of your accomplishments, whether its your COVID engagement when she dresses up to bring you a cake, or its the simple fact that you worked on a Saturday (cue Vish serenading Niks with 'Working on the Weekend like usual...'). You'll find Vishalee on the dance floor at the reception with her powerful lipstick, making friends with every guest.

Brian Rauf

Groomsman

The Sports Friend. Brian and Priyank met in AP English and bonded over "BS-ing" questions for readings they never did and getting some "help" from neighbors on the final exam. At any point in time, Brian and Priyank can be found talking sports especially naming random college basketball players ("remember how good Chris Wright was at Georgetown?").

Rashi Bisarya

Bridesmaid

Rashi and Niki have known each other since high school, where they first met as all nerds do, in Earth Science class. Their friendship has always been filled with that child-like type laughter over silly things like YouTube's famous the "Egg Song" (100k views on youtube - half of which are definitely us). If you dive into their Facebook wall posts, you'll find references to "My Life is Desi" jokes and endless duck-face pics. At the reception, you'll find her asking the DJ to play "Teri Kurti Sexy" or the original "Dilbar".

Akash Shah

Groomsman

The "Down for Anything" Friend. "Do you want to go bowling tonight?" "Do you want to go play golf?" "Do you want to go to the Bronx for a slice?" "Do you want to come to Green Bay?" Akash says "yes" to anything and does it with so much enthusiasm and love. The one question that he should've said "no" to was "do you want to take this poetry class?" during the end of college.
