Think colorful! For the ladies, we suggest Lehengas, Anarkhalis, or colorful Cocktail dress. For gents, we recommend Kurtas, suits (skip the tie) or a button down and slacks.
The Sangeet, literally meaning 'music', is where the party begins! The Sangeet serves as a night of celebrating the start of our wedding weekend with the Patel/Purohit families and close friends.

Baraat

The Baraat is the Groom's procession as he arrives to the wedding ceremony. Traditionally, weddings would take place at the bride's home and the groom would arrive in pomp and circumstance riding an elephant or horse and accompanied by loud drums and dancing along the streets. Our version will be nothing short of epic as we take the streets of Chicago downtown surrounded by all of you. And we invite guests from both sides to join in!
