What and where is the venue?

Our venue is called "The Brownstone" and is located in Topeka, KS. 4020 NW 25TH ST TOPEKA, KS 66618

What day is the wedding?
Answer
We will be celebrating on Sunday, September 1st, 2024.
Question
What time is the ceremony and reception?
Answer
The ceremony will start at 4 pm (16:00), followed by pictures for about an hour. The reception will be shortly after around 5:45-10:00 (17:45-22:00). At this time, feel free to grab some drinks, play yard games, and enjoy yourself. You can also take family photos of your own, or take advantage of our photo booth.

Can I bring a +1?
Answer
Absolutely! But if you are bringing a +1 you will have to include them in your RSVP so we can have them in our total headcount before the wedding.

Is there an open bar?
Answer
YES! We will be having an open bar which includes some beers and wines, and will also include sodas (open for 5 hours). Feel free to enjoy as many drinks as you'd like, but please, drink responsibly.

What food will be served?
Answer
We will have a taco bar, catered by Hy-Vee. This meal also includes options available for vegetarian diets as well.

Is the venue handicap accessible?
Answer
Yes. Our venue includes handicap-accessible entrances, and a handicap-accessible bathroom as well.

Will the ceremony be indoor or outdoor?
Answer
Weather permitting, we will celebrate our ceremony outdoors. However, should the weather not cooperate, we will be able to have our ceremony indoors.

What is the color theme?
Answer
We both love blues and oranges. Feel free to try and match those colors if you'd like! Or, just wear whatever you feel beautifully handsome in.

Should I bring a gift, or is there a registry?
Answer
You are welcome to bring a gift if you would like as we do have a Zola and Amazon registry on our website. However, don't feel like you have to, as we'd love to just have you there to celebrate with us.

Do I have to attend the ceremony, or can I just come for the reception?
Answer
We totally understand not wanting to sit through a ceremony. But, we'd still love to have you join us for some awesome fun afterward, so feel free to show up later for some great food, drink, and music!
