Tanner & Nicole

During Nicole's second year at K-State, her brother Jacob was rooming with a friend he had known for a couple of years, and who was also friends with Tanner. During that fall of 2018, Nicole came over to the house to visit her brother and hang out for a while. And every once in a while, Tanner would end up staying up way past his bedtime to hang out with his roommate's sister (since Nicole is a bit of a night owl). And after multiple events of Tanner staying up way late, and offering to "walk her to her car" (even though the 'parking lot' was literally in the backyard), Nicole began to realize that this giant nerd seemed to be showing quite a bit of interest in her. So, to test this theory, one night after Tanner 'walked her to her car', she offered a brief hug of thanks, and after that very brief hug, Tanner walked away with a giant smile and a serious bounce to his step. He was practically walking on air. And thus began the 'unofficial dating' period of Tanner and Nicole. As often as she could she would go over to 'visit her brother' to play video games or just hang out and watch movies. And it wasn't long before others started catching on, and on January 20th of that next year, Tanner and Nicole were now 'officially' dating. Now, four and a half years later after many fun, crazy, stressful, happy, sad, and adventurous times, they got engaged! Over those years their relationship grew stronger and their goals and plans for the future began to become more clear as well. And now, these two can't wait to get married and finally start their biggest adventure together as partners in life.
