What started out as a health scare quickly unfolded into a love story. While stationed in Virginia, Tyler had to return to upstate New York for heart surgery. Following his procedure, Tyler decided to visit old friends from college for an impromptu gathering at Blue Barn Cidery. It was there that he and Nicole first met through mutual friends. After quickly falling into sarcastic banter and a tournament of yard games, Nicole and Tyler knew they needed to find a way to continue their connection despite a separation of 550 miles. For the next three years, and countless miles traveled, they are still each other's favorite person to walk, drive or fly home to see.
