Maid of Honor
Ryanie!! We've been called "twins" our whole 20+ years of friendship, and I couldn't love that more! While we may look similar, our personalities and style couldn't be more different...but that's what makes our friendship so fun! She's the creative to my analytical, and we could not disagree more on the importance of dancing in public places. Somehow though, we became best friends in first grade and have been like sisters ever since! We have travelled across the US, gone to Europe, made annual NYC trips, and spent Christmas Eve together with our families for many, many years. Her sweet and selfless personality are such a gift to everyone she meets, and I am so blessed to have her as my Maid of Honor!
Bridesmaid
My Morgie!! My Louisiana girl...the one who made me feel right at home from the moment I got to my freshmen "Frog Camp" when leaving for TCU. The friendship was instant, and I knew it when we both decided to defy our cabin counselor's rules and sleep with our heads near each other in the L-shaped bunk beds so we could talk before sleeping (even though that apparently put us "at risk for lice" lol). We have so many memories together through college and beyond: frog camp, being each other's mixer dates, all the spring breaks, Morgie's wedding, and visits in Denver and Texas after graduating. I am so excited we have gotten to be in each other's weddings!!
Bridesmaid
Oh my Laurus!! My swirly-twirly, goofball, Texas-lovin lady! We have been roommates, shared community and jack & jill bathrooms, danced just about everywhere, made up too many weird stories/videos, and gone on road trips across Texas just because. My "yes" girl. We've stayed in sketchy motels, ripped rain guards off cars, and driven last minute across cities and state borders in the name of Country Music and two-stepping. I look up to her in so many ways...her humor, her genuine empathy, her strength, and her ability to small talk so naturally and warmly are just incredible! A go-to friend no matter the occasion or mood...she will support, love, and meet you there! Incredibly blessed to have a life-long friend like LB!!
Bridesmaid
Nanna!! My extroverted, talkative, Greek gal! Our moms introduced us at orientation and the rest is history!! One of my sorority sisters that turned into a roommate for the infamous years in the Greenehouse! Oh what we would give to live there again! The Fritz's and Pilgrim's have spent many a TCU bowl game/NYE and Thanksgivings together, and these are some of my favorite memories! Anna is always ready for a Facetime session, pep talk, or good advice. I have her to thank for introducing me to Harry Potter movie marathons & Friends, and I'd like to think she thanks me for introducing her to the beauty of cheesy Rom-Coms and Hallmark movies. If you need a hype girl, good Greek recipe, or etiquette answer, she's your girl!! I am so grateful for her friendship and memories yet to come!
Bridesmaid
Red!! Without a doubt the most intelligent, yet somehow still most humble person I know! I met Maddie freshman year and is the final puzzle piece of the Greenehouse! She is a sincere friend no matter what she has going on (like solving world peace and making the world better and such)! She is thoughtful, genuine, and so empathetic. She taught me to love smoked cheese in various forms, peanut butter on brownies, and I truly think she is to thank for now being able to tolerate and even love wine! Maddie, thank you for not getting mad at me no matter how many cliff bars I stole after mixers (and if you didn't know that then thanks for not getting mad now hahaha). You are someone I look up to and learn from continually, and I can't wait to make more fun memories this year!! Love you Red!!
Bridesmaid
Autumn!! My post-college rock...thank God for her!! We have been through so much together! Starting with nursing school shenanigans and stress in the library at 2 am and the infamous peach ring/earplug mixup... to very similar good & bad seasons in life after graduation! What would I do without our life talks and pointing me to Jesus through the good and bad? She is loyal, goofy, so smart, honest, and the voice of reason and clarity She is always down for a hike, walk, playing tennis, or any outdoor activity! I look up to her in so many ways and especially this year as she continues to excel in life as a mom to the cutest little peanut, Penny Rose! So grateful to get to walk through life with this gal and now the newest member of our girl gang!!
Bridesmaid
Summ! Although I can't quite remember how we really first become close friends in high school, I always knew of Summer thorugh our small school! I remember thinking she was so cool and wanting to be friends with Adley's free spirited friend who drives a Hummer and wears feathers in her pink streaked hair...like who else could pull that off?? I got to know her better through volleyball, dance team, and ultimately the infamous SB beach trip...and my life is a million times better for it! She continues to amaze me with her skills in graphic design, sharp shooting, dog-momming, and dance moves. She is the most genuine, caring, and hilarious friend, and I consider moving back to Lafayette every time we get to hang because it's such a blast!
Bridesmaid
Ad!! I first met Adley when our moms introduced us through tennis lessons when I was in the 4th grade and told us we would be at Ascension together! Like with Summer, we knew each other all through elementary, middle, and high school, but our friendship really took off through sports and the SB beach trip!! Adley can bring out the weird in me like no one else, and I just cry laughing every time I get to be around her! She's another reason I want to move back to Lafayette every time I come back and see her!! She is joyful, intentional, sophisticated, and has such a kind heart! She is a soon to be married lady, and it is so fun getting married and going through the engagement season with one of my favorite people!
Best Man
Growing up in the shadows of big brother, Kenyon, was not an easy task, but Chad has admirably done his best to emerge from said shadows. Despite the difficulties encountered with being the little brother, he has graciously accepted the offer to serve as the best man. Chad is as good of a guy as there is, and provides a sense of comfort to Kenyon that is unmatched, which should come in handy on the big day. On the wedding night, you’ll more than likely find Chad out on the dance floor, shirt slightly unbuttoned, and in prime position to capture any embarrassing things Kenyon does on video.
Groomsman
Kenyon and Nick have been steady friends since junior high and have remained close. Since college, the two have travelled to OU or Texas Tech each year to watch their schools play each other in football. Kenyon appreciates Nick being a good sport about it despite Texas Tech losing each of these matchups (Note: Unfortunately, Texas Tech has won the last two basketball games, causing Kenyon great difficulty trying to be the same good sport that Nick has been). Nick has been a selfless friend and helped Kenyon whenever needed (including partially playing a role in setting Nicole and Kenyon up), so it’s only right to have him as a groomsman. On the wedding night, you can expect Nick to have the most stylish hair and to show off his beat-boxing skills when given the opportunity to do so.
Groomsman
Kenyon initially gravitated to Taylor in the 7 th grade as the two had first period together, and Taylor always had a steady supply of gum readily available to share. Little did Kenyon know at the time that this would symbolize the type of friend Taylor has been over the years. When Kenyon needed a sounding board, counselor, hype-man, co-pilot, etc., Taylor has always risen to the occasion, and Kenyon is grateful for him taking on the latest role of a groomsman. On the wedding night, Taylor is most likely to have his own walk-up song as he strolls down the aisle.
Groomsman
Kenyon always longed for having another sibling and dreams that Chris will one day describe him as being a cool brother-in-law. Chris brings new and fresh energy to the group of groomsmen, and Kenyon appreciates having someone by his side who has the inside scoop on what it’s like living with Nicole. Chris provides immeasurable value on this that Kenyon only hopes to help repay over the years. On the wedding night, don’t be surprised if you catch Chris rocking a pair of high-top Nikes on his feet that will soon start a trend for future wedding attire.
Groomsman
Despite living within walkable distance from each other growing up, Kenyon and Tony were mostly acquaintances until Kenyon moved to Fort Worth after college. The two lived at the same apartment complex before ultimately becoming roommates for a couple of years. The pair bonded through a love of Smoothie King, playing NBA 2K, nights out on the town, and living with Nick and his dog Sammie. Tony has been a great friend to Kenyon, and we thank him for his service as one of the groomsmen. On the wedding night, you can catch Tony either offering to help prepare the food or using his artistic services to draw caricatures of the guests.
Groomsman
Based on the friendship Kenyon and Zach have now, you’d never expect that the two first started out as rivals on the soccer fields and basketball courts growing up. Yet, the two ultimately teamed up and found success together as their friendship progressed. Not only did Kenyon benefit from competing with Zach in sports, but in the classroom as well, with both finishing near the top of their graduating class (according to sources). Kenyon admires Zach’s skillfulness in all that he does and is thankful to have him as a groomsman. On the wedding night, keep an eye out for Zach, as he’s notorious for playfully wreaking havoc in places Kenyon occupies and typically has silly string ready to spray at all times.
Groomsman
Kenyon and Brandon became fast friends during their 4th grade year together at Graford. However, Kenyon transferred to Mineral Wells the following year and the two lost touch until Brandon’s subsequent transfer to Mineral Wells in the 9th grade. Once reunited, they bonded quickly and picked up where they had left off previously – they haven’t looked back since. Brandon is the ideal friend to bring home to mom and dad as well as to stand by Kenyon’s side as a groomsman. On the wedding night, don’t be surprised if Brandon takes over the mic at some point, as he’s known for taking over crowds with heartfelt, unprompted speeches.
