Rachel and I have been friends since we could walk. We met in our local church back in Wayne, Nebraska, and have been great friends ever since. When I transferred to Wakefield during my sophomore year, we reconnected and our friendship has been a constant in our lives ever since. We couldn't have survived high school without each other.
Tyler Vermeer
Best Man
Tyler and Chris met when they were toddlers. They grew up just down the street from each other and have been best friends ever since. When they were younger, they got into a little too much trouble sometimes (maybe you'll hear a story or two in Tyler's speech). There is no one else Chris could imagine being his best man other than his first best friend.
Brittany Schone
Bridesmaid
Brittany and I met through Chris and quickly became close friends. We've spent many hours watching racing with our men and chasing her kids around their house. Although we may not have known each other for long, I consider Brittany one of my closest friends.
Shane Schone

Chris and Shane met in high school choir and also through Shane's wife, Brittany. Shane and Chris currently work together at Skunk River, but they also spend time outside of work together going to races, bowling league, and enjoy a few beers together.
Jade Klinefelter

Jade and I met during my junior year at William Penn when she was a freshman on the bowling team. Over the last year, Jade and I have gotten close and have been each other's biggest supporter and cheerleader. During some of the toughest times of my junior and senior year, Jade was always there to lean on.
Tasker Phillips
Groomsman
Chris and Tasker met through another groomsman, Brandon. Chris and Tasker instantly hit it off and became great friends. Chris helps Tasker on his sprint car and also with farm work on his family farm. Tasker is also the person who gave Chris his famous nickname: Slim Dawg. Chris spent most of his early adult years "living" with Tasker and his wife, Alee, at the farm helping with chores and working on the sprint car, and usually enjoying one too many Mike's Harder.
JoAnn Parker

JoAnn and I have been friends since we bowled together in junior league. Our friendship grew quickly while we attended Wayne State College basketball games together. We maintained our friendship while JoAnn went off to Briar Cliff for college and grew our friendship again when she moved to Davenport, and I moved to Oskaloosa for college.
Brandon Lent
Groomsman
B Lent and Chris have also been friends since they could walk. Louise Vink somehow managed to babysit both of them together (bless her soul). Along with Tyler, Brandon has been one of Chris' best friends from the very beginning. Chris (and eventually me) lived with Brandon and his wife, Shelsea for a little bit. Chris and Brandon enjoy work on Tasker's and Sawyer's sprint cars, bowling, and golfing together whenever they can.

I met Cesilee (CJ) through our best man - Tyler. Chris and I have spent many hours with CJ and Tyler going to baseball games, bowling, watching movies, and enjoy celebrating holidays together. Although CJ and I haven't been for friends for a long time, we have created lifelong memories that I will forever cherish!
Jesse Duinink

The old man of the group. Chris and Jesse met through Tyler at the race track in Marshalltown working on his brother's, Jayme, racecar. They have created many memories together between bowling leagues, racing trips, and even working together for a little bit at the bowling alley. Jesse and Chris have grown closer in the last two years, and considers Jesse like a brother to him.
Kinzly Varley

Kinzly is the cousin of the Bride! Kinzly lives in Wayne with Nicole's aunt and uncle. Kinzly loves playing dress-up with her younger brothers, making arts and crafts, baking with Grandma, and helping Mom with everything around the house. She is a joy to be around and lights up every room. We are so excited to include Kinzly in our big day!!
Maddux Schone

Maddux is the son of Brittany and Shane Schone. Maddux is their middle child and one of the many children in our lives. We love spending time with Maddux and all the Schone kids. He brings so much joy and love to our life every day!
