Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Nicki Nguyen and Courtney Denson
Birmingham is a hidden gem in our opinion! Great parts of town that are walkable to enjoy a nice day are: Morris Ave and downtown: enjoy lunch at the Essential, explore the historic peanut depot for a southern classic (boiled peanuts), grab an old fashion at Carrigan's Bar or Collin's and a bunch of others I left off! Main walkable thoroughfare is along 20th St S and along 2nd ave North. Avondale: Parkside has a great patio and amazing food truck in the back called Hotbox where they make Asian inspired food and have an amazing cheeseburger with bacon jam! Great walkable part of town. For those staying at the Hampton Inn: the area behind your hotel called Mountain Brook is a nice area with high-end boutiques and has one of Nicki's old lunch spots called Brink & Tin that has great sandwiches and scratch-made soups.
