This is one of Katelyn's favorite places for a guest to visit. We would recommend doing the hop on/hop off guided tour which is around $12/person. You will not be disappointed. UPDATE: As of 10/25 Arlington National Cemetary is open and the tram tours have resumed. However, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and Arlington House, two of the most popular attractions within ANC, remain closed to the public. The tram will stop at JFK gravesite and the guides will continue to provide narration along the ride.
The monuments are great to see during day or night. There are a few different hop on/hop off bus tours as well that will drop off near the monuments and allow you to see other parts of DC. We got engaged at the Jefferson Memorial, and we may be biased, but it is one of the prettiest. Other must sees are the Lincoln Memorial, Reflecting Pool, WWII Memorial, and the Washington Monument.

Depending on the time you plan to go, it can be busy and the wait times can be long. If you feel comfortable, we recommend paying for the reservation fee to move to the front of the wait list.
