Nick and Kala originally met all the way back in 2011 through a mutual friend. They would not see each other in person again until 2015, and have been inseparable ever since.

Kala's answer: I knew I was going to marry Nick the day I met him. I told my teachers, my friends, and anybody who would listen that I would marry him someday (I was right). Nick's answer: I knew she was the one when she just kept coming back to visit me in Florida and then refused to leave (I never asked her to leave).
