Matron of Honor
Sister of the Bride Annalise is the best friend and sister I could ever have hoped for. Growing up we may not have always gotten along, but as we've gotten older we have gotten closer than I could have ever hoped. She always makes me smile and is my biggest hype person. I know I can go to her with anything and we could talk for hours. If you see Annalise at the wedding, feel free to talk to her about her cats, her plants, or your personal finances.
Best Man
Friend of the Groom Not only has Matt been my best friend since middle school, but he is also the reason I am getting married. Matt is the one who introduced me to Gabrielle way back in 2013 when they worked together at the Preston pool. In high school, Matt and I made a pact to be the best man at each other’s weddings. I fulfilled my part when he got married in June 2020, and now its finally his turn. If you see him at the wedding, ask him about cross-fit training or his adorable baby girl, Isla.
Matron of Honor
Friend of the Bride We met our Freshman year of college in General Chemistry when we were assigned to be lab partners. From there our friendship only continued to grow until we became roommates our senior year. Our late night, in bed, heart-to-hearts are something that I miss dearly. She is always willing to talk with me about anything and everything! At the wedding, feel free to talk to her about medical school, running, or coffee :)
Groomsman
Brother of the Groom Matthew is a quiet, caring, sometimes savage techno-wizard. He has a twin brother Aaron, but the two of them are distinctly unique individuals. Matthew can usually be found reading, playing ultimate frisbee, or watching NBA basketball games. Talk to Matthew about his job at Epic or the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the Bride Lexie is the friend I have had the longest. We have been friends since we were 2, she even came to my 3rd birthday party! Through all of life's ups and downs she has been there when I needed her. She is the epitome of an animal lover and is always wanting to help any animal in need. Having the opportunity to grow from toddlers to adults together is something I will never take for granted. If you run into Lexie at the wedding ask her about her animals or her obsession home decor and candles.
Groomsman
Brother of the Groom Aaron and I are alike in many ways; we both love lifting weights, videogames, cooking, and browsing the internet for the latest memes. Whenever I visit home, I can always count on Aaron to make me laugh with a funny video or story. If you see Aaron at the wedding, ask him about his job at Ernst & Young or the videogame Overwatch.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the Bride Shelby and I have been friends for a very long time. During childhood she lived across the street from my grandparents, so we were always playing with each other. She is one of those friends that you know you can always trust and turn to when you need her. Also, she is always someone who will make me laugh and just let me be a goofball with. It seems like her and I have always been bathroom buddies too :) Ask her about her dogs, Milo & Mav, and teaching Kindergarten.
Groomsman
Brother of the Groom Ben is the youngest of us boys, but what he lacks in age he makes up for in personality. He is a bubbly, funny, energetic person, and a joy to be around. In our group his nickname is “Beans”, a name just as silly as he is. At the wedding ask him about his studies at UW-La Crosse and his fraternity.
Bridesmaid
Sister of the Groom Rachel has one of my closest friends since Nathan and I started dating. We endured track together and are lifelong hurdle buddies. Through college we were each other's rock and would vent about classes and studying and we would even do a 3-way Skype call with Nathan to chat all together :) She is always down to have a good time and never fails to make me laugh! She is the most amazing nurse and best friend. Her caring and loving nature just puts you at ease. If you see her at the wedding, make sure to ask about her love for Instagram Reels and ask her any of your medical questions ;)
Groomsman
Friend of the Groom Eric’s relationship with my family began before I was even born. Eric was born a month before my twin sister and I, so he served as the “practice baby” for my parents who changed his diapers, fed, and held him. As kids we spent many days playing at his family’s farm, rolling in the cotton seed, building forts in the corn fields, and bouncing on the trampoline. We have remained close friends throughout high school, college, and into our careers. At the wedding, be sure to ask Eric about rock climbing and his two national championship awards in collegiate throwing.
Bridesmaid
Sister of the Groom From day 1, I have always thought of Sarah as another little sister. She has the sweetest heart and truly cares about those around her. From me brushing her hair to our Bachelor/Bachelorette watching nights, we have always had a good time together. Nathan and I are so excited to watch her as she blossoms into such an amazing young woman. If you run into her at the wedding, ask her about her knitting projects or the Twins :)
Groomsman
Friend of the Groom I have been close with Luke and his family for a long time, specifically since Luke’s dad, Dave, was my second-grade teacher. During high school I loved playing two-on-two basketball in the park with Luke, Matt Luck, and Zach Voeltz. (Luke and I were always on a team together and he definitely carried us). In 2020, Luke and I both moved back home to Lanesboro due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and that summer we spent countless hours together rollerblading, playing Runescape, and watching Minnesota Wild hockey games. Luke loves to talk about the weather (like it's his job or something) and about how all the Minnesota sports teams are doing.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the Bride Erin and I officially met at Saint Mary's our freshmen year, however we connected senior year of high school through our incoming college class's Facebook page. She would come and visit me in the pool freshman and sophomore year and we would sit and look at housing floor plans during finals. Junior year we lived together and had many game nights and late night talks. When you run into Erin at the wedding, chat with her about her 2 amazing kids, her love of music, and her game collection.
Groomsman
Friend of the Groom My friendship with Layton began way back in Cub Scouts when we went to a Twins game and spent the night in the old Metrodome. In high school we were essentially connected at the hip because we participated in so many of the same activities such as band, FFA, cross country, basketball, and golf. We even worked together at the same restaurant for several years. Layton is an aviation nerd just like me, so at the wedding be sure to ask him about his job at NASA.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the Bride Emma and I met freshman year of college, but became close our junior year when we lived together and were also in clubs together. Emma is one of the best huggers and I know I can always count on getting a big hug from her whenever I see her. Also, she is one of the kindest and funniest people I know. At the wedding, talk to Emma about her dog Winona and her love of the Hawkeyes.
Host
Brother of the Bride When I started dating Gabrielle, Ian immediately became like a brother to me too. We bonded over video games, sports, and our love of cats. He is very kind, but he still knows how to get on Gabrielle’s nerves like only a brother can. Ian is one of the sweetest, most caring people I know. He is almost always willing to help me out with anything and wants to support me and my endeavors. Younger brothers can be a pain, but I am so proud of the young man he has become and his strength. If you see Ian, talk to him about his pet gecko and snake, his motorcycle, or his love of cars.
Personal Attendant
Friend of the Bride Spencer and I met freshman year of college when she was on the swim team and I was a lifeguard. Throughout college we became closer during our game nights and time spent together. She is always willing to talk and see how her friends are doing. She is also very patient and caring, but is willing to set you straight if it's needed. At the wedding, chat with Spencer about her love of the outdoors and teaching Kindergarten.
Hostess & Host
Cousin/Godsister & Cousin-in-Law of the Bride Leah and Nolan live in Rochester with their 2 daughters. Because of this, over the last year and a half while we have been living in the same town we have been able to hang out, baby sit, and spend more time together. We have valued our relationship with them and are thankful for how much it has blossomed. They will be your go-to people for questions about the day.
