STL loves BBQ! So many good options to choose from for ribs, brisket, pulled pork, etc. Our faves are Sugarfire or Pappy's!
Delicious local coffee, around the corner from the hotels.
By the hotel - Breakfast / Brunch / Lunch! (Usually where Caroline goes with friends when she is in town!)
Home to the St. Louis Art Museum, Missouri History Museum, paddle boats, tennis courts, 2 golf courses, and (free!) Saint Louis Zoo.
By the hotel - good for lunch or dinner!
Saturday morning! Local produce, artisan goods and live music!
For something a little more informational and classic, we also recommend doing the Anheuser Busch brewery tour. Urban Chestnut (two locations--biergarten in Midtown, German-style bierhall in the Grove) and 4 Hands (downtown).
The Gateway to the West! St. Louis' arch is located downtown, right next to the Mississippi River, which separates Missouri from Illinois. Just walk around and observe from the bottom, or pay to take a tram-ride up to the top.
9 or 18 hole course. Also can go to the Highlands course also in Forest Park
TBD if the cardinals are in town, but Ball Park Village is always a good time!
Perfect spot for a glass of wine, plus by Caroline's elementary school
The home of the original Concrete - emulated by STL's Danny Meyer at Shake Shacks across the world. When you get your concrete, it should be so thick that you can turn it upside down without any spilling. Our favorite is the oreo!
