FAQs

Question

Do I have to book through the room block?

Answer

We teamed up with an elite travel agency to help get our guests the best rates possible with the best travel experience. We ask that guests book only within the room block as many of the wedding planning details are planned based on those booked within the block. Due to care for guest security, resort policy only allows guests registered as part of our wedding party to be permitted to attend wedding events.

Question

What date should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP and reserve your hotel room through the link on the "Travel" tab by July 3, 2024. Not booking by this date could result in increased rates or the block filling up.

Question

Directions, Transportation, and Accommodations

Answer

Our travel agency has made booking your stay at the Casa de Campo resort as seamless and efficient as possible. To learn more about booking your stay for our wedding, navigate to the "Travel" tab located at the top of the website and click on the provided link.

Question

Will there be a shuttle transportation from the airport to the hotel?

Answer

Shuttle transportation to and from the airport will be arranged by the resort for our wedding attendees. Detailed information regarding transportation will be conveyed at least one month before travel dates.

Question

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

The weather in the Dominican Republic will be your typical tropical weather. Expect very warm weather with a humid climate and the occasional coastal shower. Temperatures range from 90 degrees during the day to 75 degrees at night.

Question

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

While your attendance is more than we could hope for on our wedding day, if you are still inclined to get a wedding gift, there is a "Registry" tab that will navigate you to the registries we created. They will mail our gift directly to us so you won't have to travel with any extra luggage!

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

It is custom for guests to start arriving as early as 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. We hope to start on time so any guests arriving exactly on time may have to wait for the processional to finish before taking your seat!
